"Kinda got robbed"— America's Got Talent fans upset over Ashes & Arrows' elimination

America's Got Talent season 19 aired episode 18 on Thursday, September 12, 2024. The segment saw the remaining contestants find out who received enough votes to make it through to the finale.

Brent Street, Learnmore, Richard Goodall, Sky Elements, and Solange Kardinaly were selected as the AGT season 19 finale while six acts' journeys ended. One such musical group was Ashes & Arrows.

Fans of the show took to social media to react to the finalists and were upset that Ashes & Arros didn't make it through. They expressed their disappointment online. One person wrote on X:

"Ashes and Arrows kinda got robbed I mean they were clear of the dog act"
"Can’t believe they put a f*cking dog act thru instead of the Ashes and Arrows whom by far, way superior to a dog act," a fan commented.
"i wanted ashes and arrows to get to the finals smh," a tweet read.

America's Got Talent season 19 fans compared Ashes & Arrows' performance to Richard Goodall's.

"Oh come on Richard Goodall is not better than Ashes & Arrows. I love them. Oh well, I liked all the others that went through," a person wrote.
"Not happy with the results! Roni & Rhythm stole either Ashes & Arrows or Richard’s spot!" a fan commented.

America's Got Talent season 19 fans said that the "resulted kind of sucked" as the judges cleared out many good acts.

"These results kind of sucked. They cleared out a lot of good acts," a person wrote.
"BRO WTF ARE THESE RESULTS???? WTF IS GOING ON????" a fan commented.
"I was disappointed I believe the show is rigged I won't be watching Anymore it looks like it has become all about s*x and dirty jokes," a tweet read.

Ashes & Arrows America's Got Talent season 19 journey explored

America's Got Talent season 19 premiered on May 28, 2024. Ashes & Arrows first appeared on the show on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, earning a standing ovation from three judges.

The singing group, consisting of a singer, guitarist, and pianist, sang an original song titled Born to Love. Howie Mandel criticized the performance and said their song was a "great song" for a pub. He added that if he was in a bar, he would have had the best night ever. Meanwhile, Heidi Klum, Sofia Vergara, and Simon Cowell praised the AGT contestants.

They returned to the stage during the show's quarterfinal phase, which aired on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, and sang another original composition, Wild Horses.

Ashes & Arrows' earned a standing ovation from all four judges while the studio audience cheered them on. Referring to Howie's feedback for the group during the audition round, host Terry Crews pointed out that Ashes & Arrows won him over.

"Oh my God, now that — that was not a pub, that song was great. You rose to the occasion that is worthy of it and I'm going to make a prediction," he stated.

He said Wild Horses would be "on the chart" and that everyone would know it. America's Got Talent season 19 judge Heidi Klum said that the contestants sounded "great" individually as well as a group.

Sofia praised Ashes & Arrows and said that although their audition was great, their quarterfinal performance was "on another level." Simon Cowell praised how good Ashes & Arrows sounded together.

The AGT contestants made it through to the Semifinals and performed another original composition, titled Hang On. Howie Mandel and Simon Cowell gave the group another standing ovation. Howie said the group had "grown" on him. He called their performance the "best act of the night." Simon also called it his favorite act of the night.

Although the group received praise from the judges, Ashes & Arrows didn't receive enough votes to advance to the season finale. Fans expressed their disappointment online and said they were "robbed."

America's Got Talent season 19 will return to screens next week on September 10, 2024, on NBC.
