Love Island USA aired a new episode this week on Tuesday, June 25, 2024. After Andrea's elimination from the show, Aaron was certain that the decision stemmed from Liv and Leah being spiteful about the two wanting to be with Rob. Although Rob didn't want to believe it, his interaction with Leah soon after his partner departed from the show, made him think differently.
Tuesday's episode started with a conversation between Rob and Leah, during which the latter expressed interest in him despite still being with Connor. However, the male cast member was thinking about how eels reproduced. After expressing herself, Leah asked Rob what he thought and he said:
"Do you ever think about where Eels come from?"
Fans of the show took to social media to react to the segment and noted that Rob was uninterested in Leah. One person wrote on X (formerly known as Twitter):

Seeing Rob's reaction to Leah confessing her feelings to him, Love Island USA season 6 fans felt that the male cast member couldn't process emotions and urged him to seek help:

Leah tells Rob she still cares about him in Love Island USA season 6 episode 14
In Love Island USA season 6 episode 14, seeing how upset Rob was about Andrea's elimination, she went to clear the air. She told her former partner that she never said anything bad about him to Andrea. Leah told the season 6 cast member:
"I just want you to know that I care about you a lot still, like, no matter what has happened," she added.
In a confessional, Leah explained that she still liked Rob and it was embarrassing. She called it a "f**cked situation" but noted that at the end of the day, she believed both the Love Island USA season 6 islanders realized they messed up.
Rob was appreciative of Leah trying to comfort him and Leah asked him what he thought. The cast member noted he didn't want to say what was on his mind but Leah insisted.
"Do you ever think about where eels come from? Because I do. We don't know where they come from. We don't know really how it works, how they reproduct," Rob said.
Leah corrected Rob and said it was "reproduce" and asked him if he was seriously thinking about eels at the moment. The Love Island USA season 6 cast member once again asked him what he thought, and Rob said that he was wondering what he was going to tell Connor about their conversation.
After the Love Island USA season 6 episode aired, fans of the show took to social media to chime in on the conversation. Although they felt Rob was unable to process emotions, they noted his comment was hilarious.
