"Leave it alone"— Selling Sunset fans react to Chrishell trying to mediate Bre, Emma, and Chelsea's feud 

Selling Sunset season 8 aired all 11 episodes on Friday, September 6, 2024. The latest installment of the popular Netflix reality show saw cast members Chelsea and Bre at odds. The two, who were on bad terms last season, feuded again after the latter told Chelsea about her husband's alleged affair.

While Chelsea initially appreciated Bre telling her what she knew, she later questioned her motives. Emma and Chrishell, who were friends with Bre and Chelsea, approached the situation differently. While Emma cut Bre off immediately, Chrishell wanted to get more information.

On numerous occasions, she spoke to Bre about the situation, tried to advocate for her to Chelsea, and tried to mend Emma and Bre's strained friendship. Selling Sunset season 8 fans commented on Chrishell's behavior online, and were divided by it. While some felt she was being a good friend, others wished she hadn't interfered. Some Selling Sunset season 8 fans didn't think Chrishell did anything wrong:

"Now don’t care for bre but if I were also her friend, I’d also want to give her the benefit of the doubt especially since the whole thing was just a speculation at the time. I don’t think Chrishell really did anything wronggg," a person wrote.

Selling Sunset season 8: Chrishell talks to Emma about Bre

In Selling Sunset season 8 episode 6, Chelsea, Emma, and Chrishell discussed Chelsea and Bre's conversation about Jeff's alleged affair. Emma and Chrishell, who were friends with Bre, wanted to know whether they could trust the latter and Chelsea suggested they call her.

Chrishell called the Selling Sunset season 8 cast member and informed her she was with Emma and Chelsea. She told her she didn't want to be "turned" against Bre without giving the latter a chance to explain. She asked Bre whether she "orchestrated" the conversation with Amanda.

Bre was offended by the allegation and didn't know what to say. Chrishell explained that sometimes things get "twisted" and that it would be better to talk to her directly.

Later, Emma and Chrishell discussed the situation privately. The latter stated she didn't think Bre was trying to "hurt Chelsea." When Emma said Bre could have stopped it, Chrishell noted there might be parts of the story they didn't know.

"I wanna give her the benefit of the doubt," Chrishell said.

The Selling Sunset season 8 star discussed the matter with Bre, and told her she hated being put in this position. She assured Bre she wasn't "accusing" her but wanted to know both sides of the story.
