"Letting Katherine and Charlie stay is crazy": Too Hot to Handle season 6 fans divided by Louis' elimination

Too Hot to Handle season 6 dropped episodes 5-7 on Netflix on Friday, July 26, 2024. During the latest episodes, there was a shake-up in the cast dynamics as new couples were formed, and new faces were introduced to the audience. Before welcoming the new cast members into the house, the season 6 stars had to bid goodbye to two of their friends, who, according to Lana, were not taking the rules of her retreat seriously.

The two people sent back included Louis and Kylisha. While Louis managed to form two connections, Lana didn't think they were emotional and meaningful. This led to her believing that he wasn't taking her rules seriously. Kylisha, on the other hand, was single the entire time she was on the Netflix show and didn't seem to put in the work to get to know anyone on a deeper level.

Fans were conflicted about Louis' departure from Too Hot to Handle and took to social media to share their opinions about it. Several fans felt it was unfair that he was evicted while Katherine and Charlie, were still on the show. One person wrote on X:

However, other Too Hot to Handle season 6 fans were happy to see the cast member go home.

Some Too Hot to Handle fans called Louis the "goat" and called his elimination, the "biggest mistake" the show had ever made.

Too Hot To Handle season 6 episode 7: Lana sends Louis and Kylisha packing

In Too Hot to Handle season 6 episode 7, Lana gathered her guests at the cabana, where she informed them of yet another rule break. She told them they had lost almost half the prize fund and explained that some cast members were not taking her instructions seriously.

Earlier in the episode, the host, Lana, said that she had previously explained how important it was to have connections. She noted that since her instructions had fallen on deaf ears, she needed to "restate the message more firmly."

Louis noted that although he didn't know what the Too Hot To Handle season 6 cone was going to say, he did not think it was good. While addressing Chris and Kylisha, Lana said that they were both on the Netflix show from the beginning but couldn't form "meaningful connections."

Speaking only to the female contestant, Lana said Kylisha had not participated in her workshops. She added that it didn't seem like she was on Too Hot To Handle season 6 for the right reasons. Lana informed her that due to those reasons, she had to leave the retreat. Chris, however, was spared since he showed Lana growth and personal development.

"This is not all. One of my guests, who should know better, is making the same mistakes again and again and again. Even when they have made romantic connections, they have been purely physical," Lana added.

The Too Hot to Handle season 6 host said that because he made the same mistakes over and over again, Louis had to leave the retreat.

In a confessional, Louis said he didn't want to leave the show. While addressing the cast, he said that he spent money that he thought meant something, and it felt right at the time. He added that he spent a lot of money and admitted his actions of the show were "reckless and a bit stupid."

"I came in here thinking I was Louis 2.0. Kathering saying that she wants to get to know Charlie, now that was a bit humbling. Then I moved on from the situation quickly with Gianna, which wasn't right," Louis said.

After the episode aired, Too Hot To Handle season 6 fans took to social media as they were conflicted by Louis' elimination from the show. While some felt he should have been removed, others felt that Katherine and Charlie should have been eliminated instead.
