"Looking for her retirement package"— Love is Blind fans question Brittany's intentions 

Love is Blind season 7 commenced on October 2 on Netflix, with its first 6 episodes. Fans of the franchise eagerly awaited its return, following the conclusion of the last season and its Mexican and UK counterparts earlier this year. Leo and Brittany were among the couples who got engaged in the latest season.

However, despite their engagement, they weren't among the six couples the producers chose to go on their honeymoon in Cabo, Mexico. When they were in the pods, Brittany said in a Love is Blind confessional that she wanted to be a trophy wife.

She shared the same with Leo and told him she didn't wish to work after marriage, and expected him to provide for her. When Leo said he didn't want to marry someone who was marrying him for money, Brittany said if she wanted to marry for money she would've done it a long time ago.

However, her beliefs about not splitting the bills 50/50 and the fact that she was taken care of 100% in her past relationship, hinted towards her wanting to be taken care of financially with Leo as well. Fans of Love is Blind took to X to react to their conversations on the show.

"Brittany is going to be a nightmare. I can tell she's basically looking for a man to pay for the rest of her life. She spent her 20s twisting men round her little finger but now, at 32, she's looking for her retirement package," one fan said.

Some fans questioned why she was on Love is Blind when she said she was a "trophy wife". While others anticipated seeing them with other couples and witnessing the love triangle situation between Leo, Brittany, and Hannah.

Brittany and Leo's journey on Love is Blind season 7

When Leo and Brittany first started talking in the pods, Leo told her he inherited all his family's wealth because some of his family members passed away because of cancer.

He said his businesses were now doing very well. This made Brittany ask if he believed in splitting the bill 50/50. He said he wouldn't mind paying more if he was the one making more money.

She said she was happy with his answer because some people in the pods were hell-bent on splitting the bill 50/50. Then when Brittany found out Leo also had a real connection with Hannah, she was taken aback. She teared up when she spoke to Leo about it, who reassured her by saying he was falling for her and Hannah both.

She cried in a confessional saying the guys she had dated before had a certain status so she always felt like they had other options to date. Coming to Love is Blind resurfaced the trauma for her when she saw Leo dating another woman. After a lot of back-and-forth between Hannah and Brittany, Leo finally decided to propose to Brittany.

She said yes, when they met, they decided to go on a honeymoon to Miami as they weren't among the couples picked to go to Mexico. A disclaimer appeared on the screen that said that after their holiday in Miami, they weren't together anymore.
