The band from Asheville, North Carolina, chose to perform an original song, titled Wild Horses, in the Quarterfinals. Although their soulful singing failed to gain the Live Shows Golden Buzzer, they managed to enchant their listeners.

The audience in the auditorium began clapping to the beat of the song as soon as Ashes & Arrows started singing. They cheered every time the singers hit the high notes with ease. Their act earned a standing ovation from all four America's Got Talent judges.

Howie Mandel claimed their song would become a worldwide hit and end up on the "charts."

"That song was great. You rose to the occasion. That is worthy of it and I'm gonna make a prediction. I bet everybody, tomorrow that song is gonna be on the charts," said Howie.

Heidi Klum said they "sounded great" and were visually stunning. Sofia Vergara agreed and confessed their performance was on "another level."

"I mean I thought that you guys were great at the auditions but this was another level. I mean the song, I haven't heard a song like this in a long time. Very Americana," said Sofia.

Simon Cowell added the song was "amazing," but the lead singer, Jonathan's voice was one the "best vocals" he heard. Ashes & Arrows looked forward to continuing their journey on America's Got Talent, hoping the audience helped them advance in the competition.
