“Make it make sense”—Belle Collective fans react to SoGucci and JJ leaving Lateshia’s party because of Selena

Episode 6 of Belle Collective season 5 was released on December 6. Titled, 99 Problems but a Brunch Ain't One, the latest episode documented the cast gathering for Lateshia's brunch. Later, JJ and SoGucci were seen leaving the brunch event because they didn't want to be in the presence of JJ's ex girlfriend, Selena.

Previously, Selena opened up about JJ not talking to their three daughters because he wanted them to first resolve their issues with SoGucci. Amidst these tensions between the trio, JJ found it awkward to be brunching with someone he had a history with.

So during the event, he told SoGucci that he wanted to get out of there. She complied, and the two stepped out. Lateshia tried stopping them but she had to give in to their whim. Fans of Belle Collective took to X to react to this sequence, with many of them asking JJ to resolve his issues with his daughters. Others felt that he was making the situation "worse" with Selena.

"JJ stood outside that dollhouse, sat next to her at that games. Spoke highly of her to now he running when Selena come in the room. Make it make sense. Then she was polite and Greeted him and SoGucci when they came in the room," said one fan.

"JJ could’ve sworn he was the one in the fight with Selena. He’s making this situation worse than it should be. Meanwhile…Selena not even bothered!" said another fan.

"Ok so JJ and SoGucci keep running out the room when they see Selena because they don't wanna film with her," a third one added.

"You can bet that made sure to force Sophia and Selena to talk while JJ wasn’t around cause he wouldn’t be having any of this! This has Production written all over it…," another wrote.

Most fans of Belle Collective didn't like the fact that JJ still wasn't talking to his daughters and didn't want to confront Selena for the same.

"She trying to force JJ to have a relationship with his girls?! And her own daughter saying she didn’t feel supported. They got bigger fish to fry then running from Selena every chance they get," an X user wrote.

"JJ what you mean by stuff is better left unsaid. You were just dogging Selena as a mother last season. So what did you not say?" another X user wrote.

What JJ and SoGucci said at Lateshia's brunch on Belle Collective season 5 episode 6?

As soon as SoGucci entered Lateshia's brunch party, she came across Selena who was standing right by the door. She took to a Belle Collective confessional to say that she wasn't going to be forced to have Selena in her face. She added that it wasn't the time or the place to do so.

She continued:

"I know my husband very uncomfortable. And you know what? I'm gonna respect my husband's wishes right now and stay away from his ex".

The ladies then gathered together at a table, with SoGucci and Selena sitting down at one place alongside other ladies of the cast. In a Belle Collective confessional, SoGucci also said that she thought Lateshia set her up to be at the same table as Selena.

SoGucci excused herself saying she was going to get something to drink and went to check on her husband. She asked JJ how he felt and he said he wanted to leave. SoGucci complied and the two started walking away. Lateshia tried stopping them but they didn't listen. Selena stated that she was okay with whatever made them feel comfortable.
