"Make it make sense" — The Traitors UK fans react to Nathan's elimination

The latest season of The Traitors UK aired Episode 2 on Thursday, January 2, 2025. The episode bid farewell to Nathan, Keith, and Elen. While 65-year-old window cleaner Keith was "murdered" by the conspirators, Nathan and Elen faced the judgment of the contestants at the roundtable which concluded their journey on the competitive reality series.

Although the players were suspicious of the secret Traitor Linda, they eventually voted against Nathan and sent him packing, after Linda managed to convince the players of her innocence. They believed that the 39-year-old property consultant from London was a "game player," and could be deceiving them.

The Traitors UK fans were surprised by the contestants' decision to banish Nathan. While many claimed the cast members had no reason to eliminate him, others were upset to see the London resident exit the show. Netizens took to X to express their views on Nathan's eviction.

"linda making it SO obvious she’s a traitor but then they vote nathan???? make it make sense," a fan wrote.

"It's always difficult dishing out the first vote and it's even harder being the first one to be voted out! Sorry to see ya go Nathan," another fan commented.

"So the consensus was that it was Nathan based on nothing. The programme is so transparently fake!" a netizen tweeted.

Fans of The Traitors UK disapproved of the players' decision to banish Nathan instead of Linda.

"I didn’t expect Nathan to get that many votes wow," a user reacted.

"Catching up on Episode 2: I don't understand why they voted out Nathan first. Like, I can't even figure out why they thought he was suspicious. Groupthink winning out again? It usually does in the early stages of this game," a person commented.

"Damn not them voting for Nathan Linda got a lucky escape there," another fan wrote.

The Traitors UK: Nathan was banished from the castle with eight votes

Nathan, alongside other cast members, grew suspicious of Linda after she turned to look at Claudia Winkleman, the show's host, when she said "Traitors." However, it still was not enough to sway the votes in favor of Nathan. As a result, he was eliminated from the show with eight votes against him.

After the results were announced, Nathan revealed:

"I can confirm, that I'm a Faithful."

It caused a stir among the contestants, who were surprised to discover they had wrongfully doubted Nathan.

In a YouTube video released by BBC Sounds on January 3, 2025, titled Traitor reveal: Yin and Nathan | The Traitors: Uncloaked, Nathan and Yin were shown unveiling the identities of the conspirators. In one of the segments of the video, Nathan revealed that he suspected Linda, Armani, and Leon.

When he discovered Minah was one of the Traitors, he said:

"Yeah, I'm very shocked. She's been totally under my radar."

While Armani's name did not surprise Nathan, Linda's made him feel "great." He was pleased to discovered that his hunch was correct.
