"Makes my skin crawl" — Love is Blind UK fans criticize Sam Klein

Love is Blind UK aired the first four episodes of the series last week on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, and is set to drop the new set of episodes this week on Wednesday, August 14, 2024.

While the show featured a total of 30 singles looking for love, only a dozen got significant screen time in Episodes 1-4. One such cast member was Sam Klein. Although the cast member found two strong connections in the initial episodes, his behavior towards the cast members was heavily criticized online. One person wrote on X:

Love is Blind UK fans felt that Sam was the season's "villain":

"I'm 20 minutes into love is blind uk and I can just tell that "Sam from london" is going to this season's villain. Nicole needs to get her sh*t together, "saying the right things?" Girl, it's all the wrong things, man's screaming in red flags," a person wrote.

Sam Klein appeared on Love is Blind UK in hopes of finding love. In Episode 1, he explained how he changed his appearance and prepared himself to take part in the popular social experiment. He revealed that he got a nose job in the past since he had always been "conscious" of certain things.

In a confessional, he said that upon finding out about the Netflix show, he deactivated dating apps, trained hard at the gym, and even got a new skincare routine.

He added that he hoped that the next wedding he attended was his own. While in the pods, he opened up about his idea of "quality time" and said he loved spending time with his sister's "little kid" and knew that he would make a good father.

"I want someone to be my best friend and someone I can feel comfortable enough to be silly with, and be a big kid and sing in the shower and dance naked. I know, right?" Sam said in a confessional.

During his time on Love is Blind UK, Sam connected with two cast members, Jasmine and Nicole. Jasmine rejected him as she was worried that the male cast member was telling her things she "wanted" to hear, while the latter got engaged to him.

However, Nicole and Sam's engagement was brief as the female Netflix star quickly realized they were not compatible. Fans of the show took to social media to react to Sam's time on the show and were unhappy with the cast member. They criticized him for his statements and his behavior toward Nicole and Jasmine as he made similar promises to the two. They further called out Jasmine choosing him as they felt she deserved better.
