"MANIFESTING"— The Golden Bachelorette fans want to see Charles as the next Golden Bachelor

The Golden Bachelorette aired its Men Tell All segment ahead of the finale on Wednesday, November 6, 2024. The segment brought back Joan Vassos' suitors as they reminisced about their journeys on the ABC show.

One such cast member was Charles Ling, who was eliminated during an episode that aired on October 9, 2024. He spoke about it during an appearance on Bachelor Happy Hour soon after the episode aired and stated that he had sensed he was going to get eliminated.

The cast member returned to screens in episode 12, and his presence was met with cheers. The studio audience and fans online were excited to see Charles and expressed their desire to see him as the next Golden Bachelor online. One person wrote on X:

The Golden Bachelorette's The Men Tell All brought back Joan Vassos's eliminated suitors as they interacted with fans and recalled their journeys on the show. As Charles took his seat and spoke to Jesse Palmer, a fan from the studio audience stood up and praised the cast member. She said Charles was "so sweet" and "thoughtful."

"On behalf of Bachelor Nation, we think you should be the next Golden Bachelor," she added.

As the crowd cheered, another voice from the audience said that if Charles didn't want to take on the role, her mother was "single." The Golden Bachelorette star was accompanied by his daughter, who complimented how confident her father had become since his time on the ABC show.

After filming the Men Tell All segment, Charles spoke to TheWrap about his time on the show and the aftermath of it. While chiming in on the fan base he had developed, The Golden Bachelorette season 1 cast member said that he was "kind of thrilled." He added that it was unexpected and a "surprise."

"I would say a big surprise," Charles said.

Charles further praised Joan Vassos for being open. He said she dared to share her life while on The Golden Bachelorette and said that while there were some people who "shut down" themselves, that was not the case with Joan. He also commented on the possibility of being cast as the next Golden Bachelor and said that it was "kind of a new idea."

"I'll see what will happen and what I should do, but...not at this moment," he added.

Fans of The Golden Bachelorette season 1 were excited to see Charles back on their screen and took to social media to praise his personality.
