"MAXIMUM chaos"— The Traitors US fans react to Bob, Carolyn, and Danielle getting chosen as traitors

The Traitors US returned to screens with season 3 this week on Thursday, January 9, 2025. The show aired three episodes on Peacock on the same day and saw three contestants being chosen as the traitors of the season.

As the contestants entered the Andross Castle in the Scottish Highlands, they were greeted by their host, Alan Cumming. After getting introduced to the competition, the host spoke to the contestants individually to decide who would be a Traitor and who would be a Faithful.

Three contestants were chosen — Bob the Drag Queen from RuPaul's Drag Race, Carolyn Wiger from Survivor, and Danielle Reyes from Big Brother. Fans of the reality show reacted to the chosen contestants online and cheered for Alan Cumming's choice. One person wrote on X:

Three traitors get chosen in The Traitors US season 3 premiere

In The Traitors US season 3 premiere, host Alan Cumming spoke to all the contestants ahead of taking his decision. He had the season 3 stars sit around the roundtable with blindfolds on. He told the cast that as he went around the table, he would tap the chosen ones on their shoulders, indicating their roles as a traitor.

"This is the game that I was meant to play. I'm here to take people out one by one and I can't wait to start. I am just — I've never been so happy to be bad," Danielle told the cameras after being tapped.

Bob The Drag Queen also chimed in on being picked by the host. He said that he didn't want to be "reckless" with the role and added that he was going to be the "employee of the month." He further mentioned that in this world, one could either be hunted or a hunter and he was not interested in being the "prey."

Carolyn said she wanted to "jump up and down" and wanted to scream.

"Do you know how hard it is not ot just scream? Like, this is what I'm here for," Carolyn said.

Bob the Drag Queen from RuPaul's Drag Race and Carolyn Wiger from Survivor were also picked. After choosing three traitors, Alan told the season 3 cast that their first mission was set to take place shortly. After Alan's departure, the cast discussed the events of the roundtable. Carolyn stated that there was "so much anxiety" and said it was time to figure out who the traitors were.

Dylan Efron said he had to pay attention to the other players, while Robyn Dixon wondered why her heart was "racing." Bob said he was in the same position and that his heart race kept going up whenever Alan's steps got closer. He added that it was "scary."

The Traitors US season 3's Chrishell Stause told Tony Vlachos that he needed to help the cast be "faithful" and asked if he would lie to her. She told him they needed his "investigative skills."

Fans of The Traitors US season 3 praised Alan Cumming's choice online.
