While the fans await the finale episode of Love Is Blind season 7, two new episodes preceding the finale have been released on October 16, 2024. In the popular dating reality show, single men and women enter the show to seek like-minded individuals who could be their life partners.
The catch is that while communicating the singles will have a wall between them, forcing them to connect on a deeper level rather than a physical level. Vanessa and Nick Lachey guide the hopeful couples through their journey in the pods.
Only 3 couples remain in the experiment who hope to say "I do" as their journey concludes. Those couples are Garret & Taylor, Ashley & Tyler, and Marissa & Ramses. A week away from the wedding date, in episode 11, Nick invited the 3 men to try out suits that they would be wearing at the altar.
Garrett was accompanied by his two best friends from high school, Trevor and Brandon. When Trevor asks Garrett regarding having doubts about getting married to Taylor after just a month of meeting her, he agrees that the decision might be sudden but he would be a "fool" to say no to marrying Taylor.
"You can realize that it's early. Maybe it's premature. But I don't want to lose her," stated Garrett.
How did Taylor and Garrett's journey pan out on Love Is Blind season 7 so far?
The love story of Garrett and Taylor started early on the show, and they look seemingly strong going forward in this experiment of finding love on Love Is Blind. The two formed an immediate connection in the pods as Taylor started referring to her partner as "G". Both had scientific tattoos which led to deeper conversations about partnership, communication, and life in general.
Although the two bonded on various aspects including their hard-working lifestyle, Taylor was hesitant to reveal her mother's identity as she did not wish to disclose their ethnicity.
Garrett presumed that Taylor was being overly calculative on Love Is Blind and might be hiding something. Taylor justified this by stating that the point of the experiment was to not make a bias about their physical traits.
“I wasn’t going to share my ethnicity, because it was an opportunity to have someone not know what I look like at all,” said Taylor.
After they came to an understanding regarding the issue, Taylor and Garrett agreed to come into a relationship. Before meeting outside the pods, Taylor shared and read a letter her late grandfather wrote to her grandmother. The letter described the proposal between the two and through this gesture, Taylor wanted to showcase her feelings for Garrett.
This left Garrett speechless at first and after gathering his thoughts, he proposed to Taylor, asking her hand in marriage. The two were one of the 6 couples who left for Cabo on to their honeymoon phase and established themselves as one of the strongest pairs.
Both moved to Washington, DC and had open communication throughout their stay, with Garrett even agreeing to move to San Diego if Taylor's work took her there. There were some issues in regards to Taylor's parents not agreeing to let the cameras film their house but they were adamant to meet Garrett regardless.
Later, the journey of the Love Is Blind season 7 couple turned a little sour when Taylor saw Garrett texting a woman from his past. Garrett admitted to his mistake and reassured Taylor that his intentions toward her were always pure. After mulling over the facts, she believes Garrett's words and accepts his apologies.
