Reality TV star Melissa Gorga recently spoke about the possibility of having new cast additions to The Real Housewives of New Jersey. While promoting her collaboration with Rao's Homemade, Melissa Gorga told Page Six on July 22 that she's excited for "fresh faces" who are likely to be introduced to the series.
She said that although she doesn't know what kind of change it would be, she's looking forward to it:
"Listen, I'm excited for what's to come. I think we are due for some type of change. I don't know what kind of change, but I am excited to see what happens. I am excited to see what's next and where this show goes from here."
Real Housewives of New Jersey season 14 is gearing up for its wrap-up special that is slated to air on August 11 on Bravo. "My guess is as good as yours" — Melissa Gorga on RHONJ Season 14
While talking about what to expect from the new season of Real Housewives of New Jersey, Melissa Gorga revealed that she hasn't heard anything related to Bravo's plans for the show:
"My guess is as good as yours."
Moreover, Melissa Gorga spoke to Entertainment Tonight at the July 8 premiere of Divorce in Black in New York and addressed the tense nature of season 14.
"I agree with Bravo that there needs to be changes...I agree with that 100 percent. I think things have gotten really toxic."
She also added that she's prepared for anything:
"Whatever Bravo decides to do is fine with me. I don't make demands. I come to work. I have a very strong relationship with the show. "
On the other hand, a caller asked SiriusXM show host Andy Cohen if RHONJ would see "fresh faces" and "get rid" of all the negativity. In the July 15 episode of Andy Cohen Live, he replied:
"I agree. We're gonna figure something out. We are all on the same page about that," Cohen added.
The caller also mentioned that there's been a lot of tension among the existing cast members. In response to this, Cohen teased that the show has plans to "rebrand."
In June, Bravo had confirmed that there won't be a reunion for season 14. Moreover, a source told People magazine that the cast members had filmed two watch parties at Rails Steakhouse in Towaco, NJ, on July 15.
Gorga, Margaret Josephs, Rachel Fuda, Danielle Cabral, and a "friend of" Jennifer Fessler organized a watch party together. Meanwhile, another group including Teresa Guidice, Jennifer Aydin, and Jackie Goldschneider had a separate watch party with Dolores Catania joining both rooms at times.
