"Merciless"—The Bachelorette fans divided by Jenn criticizing Sam M. during Men Tell All

The Bachelorette season 21 aired the 'Men Tell All' segment on Tuesday, August 27, 2024. The segment saw the return of most of Jenn Tran's suitors, who discussed their time on the ABC show with Jesse Palmer.

One such cast member was Sam McKinney, who was eliminated from the show during the sixth rose ceremony. Sam's journey on the show started on a high note as he became the recipient of the First Impression Rose, but things started to change after his on-screen argument with his fellow cast members.

During the 'Men Tell All' segment, the frontrunner, Jenn Tran, criticized Sam for his behavior towards the other suitors. Recalling his time on the show, she said:

"Everything was about you the entire time — how you were feeling in the moment, what you wanted to do. Everything revolved around you."

Fans of the dating reality show took to X to praise Jenn for criticizing Sam M.

"I know Jenn meant for this monologue to Sam M. to be her bad b**ch gotcha moment, but she just comes across as rehearsed, scorned and still bothered. She also said everything "resolved" around him, which didn't help," a person wrote.

"Jenn was only able to "own" Sam M. because she had a big rehearsed speech. This is the same woman who up-speaks, ends every phrase with "ah", clenches her jaw to talk and has admitted she isn't good with words. She's no better than Sam," a fan commented.

The Bachelorette season 21's 'The Men Tell All' featured several confrontations, including the frontrunner confronting her First Rose recipient, Sam M. When she entered the stage, Jesse Palmer asked her why she sent Sam home from the ABC show.

Jenn explained that she saw a lot of "alarm bells" and a few "red flags" that she added up in her head. She said it was "apparent" that she and Sam didn't have conversations and that he knew nothing about her.

The Bachelorette season 21 star recalled Devin and Sam's arguments on the show and criticized the latter for his behavior towards the other men. She started her monologue by saying she would use words that he was "going to understand" and used his catchphrase "keep the main thing, the main thing."

Jenn recalled when Sam was unable to tell her why he loved her. She said she wasn't upset since they were on "very different emotional" and "intellectual levels." But she added that she was upset about how Sam M. interacted with the other cast members.

"You interacted with all these men, huffing and puffing your chest everywhere. The blatant disrespect to everybody," Jenn added.
