"Messy and immature" — Love is Blind Mexico fans divided by Saul and Leti's relationship in Episode 5

Love is Blind Mexico aired four new episodes on Thursday, August 8, 2024, on Netflix. The show picked up from Episode 5 and saw the couples spend their last few days as part of the honeymoon phase before moving on to the next chapter of the social experiment.

While some couples ended their trips on a good note, Saul and Leti's differences continued to grow bigger. The segment started with Saul discussing his fiancée's lack of affection with several other participants including Gerardo and Silvia. This made Leti feel misunderstood and as she stated later in the episode, she felt that Saul was trying to "prove a point."

While the two left their honeymoon as a couple, they broke up soon after moving into their apartment. Fans of the Netflix reality show took to social media to discuss the events of Episode 5 and were conflicted about who they thought was in the wrong. While some fans supported Saul, others felt he was "immature." One person wrote on X:

Some Love is Blind Mexico fans criticized Leti and felt she shouldn't have been a part of the social experiment:

"I actually feel bad for Saúl because he picked the worst person in the pods. Leti never should’ve been on this show and everyone knows it. She just went for the free vacation. #loveisblindmexico," a person wrote.

"Leti is gaslighting Saul so bad #LoveIsBlindMexico," a fan commented.

"Leti shouldn’t have signed up for the experiment. I like how she didn’t let her disability affect her desire to have love but….. she was not attracted to Saul at all. Using the excuse of being overwhelmed by his need to be affectionate is crazy. #LoveIsBlindMexico," a tweet read.

Discussing the couple's breakup, fans said:

Saul and Leti break up in Love is Blind Mexico Season 5

Love is Blind Mexico aired Episodes 5—8 on Thursday, August 8, 2024. The first episode of the batch saw Leti and Saul's relationship end after a turbulent journey together.

While their time in the pods was wonderful, cracks for the Love is Blind Mexico couple started appearing when they arrived for the honeymoon. The phase was meant to discover whether the cast members were physically compatible, however, Leti's discontentment with physical closeness threatened their relationship.

The female cast member felt that Saul had different expectations from her and expected her to show affection the same way he did. Meanwhile, the latter wanted to feel validated about his feelings towards Leti.

In Love is Blind Mexico Season 1 Episode 5, Saul discussed his and Leti's relationship with his friends and Leti wasn't okay with it. Before leaving for Mexico City, the two talked and Saul apologized for his behavior the previous night. He asked the Netflix star whether she wanted to be with him and if they could find a way to make their relationship work without changing one another.

Leti noted she didn't want to decide their future together while in a state of hurt and confusion and the two returned to Mexico City as a couple. However, as soon as the Love is Blind Mexico stars arrived at their apartment, Leti broke up with Saul.

Fans of the Netflix dating show chimed in on the relationship and equally placed blame on both cast members.
