House of Villains season 2 aired its latest episode on October 24, 2024. The segment marked the end of Survivor alum, Richard Hatch's journey after being voted out unanimously by his fellow villains.

The cast member was put on the Hit List by Camilla Poindexter along with The Challenge star Wes Bergmann and Love & Hip Hop star Safaree. During an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the Survivor alum chimed in on his elimination from the E! reality show and said that it was "just wrong."

Richard also commented on Camilla putting him and Wes, two of her allies on the Hit List and called her gameplay "messy."

"I think it was really, really messy play, but I think it was her real sincere, honest, best effort," he added.

House of Villains season 2's eliminated contestant Richard Hatch chimes in on Camilla's betrayal

Richard Hatch's House of Villains season 2 journey came to an end during episode 4, titled High Voltage Villains. He was put on the Hit List by Camilla Poindexter from the Baddies franchise, one of his allies on the show.

The Survivor alum was asked about his gameplay and Camilla's position, which led to his elimination. The reality star said that one of the things viewers should know about any unscripted show is that one cannot "live with regrets." Richard said he was content with how he played the game and wouldn't have done anything differently.

He added that while he could have "taken a different path," he did the best he could with the information that was available to him.

"And who could bother regretting things like that? Life's too short," he said.

The House of Villains season 2 cast member chimed in on Camilla's strategy and said that she was on the E! reality show for her children. She was trying to do something different than what she had been exposed to as part of the other shows she had been a part of.

"It was messy as h*ll still, but that's okay. She's getting there," he added.

Richard further said that Camilla had to be "more confident" with her moves because she was "too fearful" of the possible repercussions. The cast member further mentioned that Camilla threw "too much at the wall" at once instead of thinking about the best possible approach.

The Survivor alum also talked about being voted out unanimously and stated that if he had not been on the Hit List, then he, Kandy, Jessie, and Camilla could have "run the show." Richard added that if he was in the safe contestants' position, he couldn't have voted to save himself because it would have made him "stand out" as a player. He said he was glad his allies didn't vote for him as they knew what the other votes were going to be.

The House of Villains season 2 contestant was asked whether he knew he would be eliminated in episode 4. He said that while he was not certain, he thought it was going to be him. Richard stated he could tell who was "absolutely lying" and it made it seem like he was going to be the target.

"They were lying so badly it wasn't even worth lying," he added.

The House of Villains season 2 star termed Safaree Samuels "the worst liar" and said he had convinced himself that he was being truthful. However, he added that some of Safaree's lies were "pretty obvious" to him.
