"Messy"— The Real Housewives of Potomac fans react to Mia asking Karen if she could bring Jacqueline to her party

The Real Housewives of Potomac season 9 aired a new episode this week on Sunday, December 15, 2024. The segment saw Karen Huger host a Love Lagoon party, but not everyone was invited.

However, while the cast was out shopping, Mia Thornton asked the cast member if she could bring her friend Jacqueline to the party. Karen said no, recalling their turbulent past together.

Fans of the reality show commented on the conversation on social media and felt Mia was being "messy" by asking Karen if she could invite Jacqueline to the party.

"Mia is so d*mn messy asking to bring Jacqueline to Karen’s party and even messier for bringing her anyway even after Karen says no," one person wrote on X.

Fans of The Real Housewives of Potomac season 9 criticized Mia for bringing Jacqueline to the party despite Karen asking her not to.

"Mia should’ve respected Karen's request. Just like Karen said her home is peace. Everyone isn’t allowed in your home," a person wrote.

"I know that’s right Karen. Jacqueline wouldn’t even be allowed on my street after she dragged her unwarranted. Especially when Karen was there for her when Mia iced her out from the group!" a fan commented.

Mia asks Karen if she can invite Jacqueline to her party in The Real Housewives of Potomac season 9 episode 11

In The Real Housewives of Potomac season 9 episode 11, the cast was out shopping when Mia spoke to Wendy and Ashley about wanting to talk to Karen. The cast member told the two that she wanted to invite her friend Jacqueline to Karen's Love Lagoon party, and while Wendy told Mia Karen would be "mad as hell," Ashley liked the idea.

Mia approached Karen and said that her invite was to bring someone special and that the latter asked her to bring her ex-husband, Gordon. The Real Housewives of Potomac season 9 star said that Gordon couldn't make it and that her current boyfriend, Inc. was also busy as he was getting an award the same day.

Before Mia could finish asking her question, Karen said "No." She told the cast member not to do that to her. She explained that she was in a place in her life where she was catering to herself and that her home was her "peace."

"Mia asking me can Jacqueline come to my house after the horrible things that Jacqueline said about me. It's just Mia being messy and setting up something that I smell foul," Karen said in a confessional.

Mia told Jacqueline about her conversation with the cast member and said that Karen didn't want her at her house, and Jacqueline said she didn't want to go anyway.

Even though Karen was clear about not wanting Jacqueline at her house, the cast member made an appearance, which didn't sit well with Karen. Fans of the reality show were upset by Mia's behavior and even commented on Jacqueline showing up to Karen's party despite knowing she wasn't invited.
