What happened between Lynn and Kuda in the Love Never Lies: South Africa finale?
Many factors compelled Kuda to contemplate ending things with Lynn before seeing her at the final ceremony. Lynn's "crush" on Veezo and unwillingness to marry Kuda made him wonder if spending his life with her would be in his best interest.
In contrast, Lynn was hurt by Kuda's flirtatious behavior with Star. Moreover, Kuda's comment about feeling "mothered" by Lynn, added to the Love Never Lies: South Africa cast member's miseries.
When Minnie, the show's host, asked Kuda how he felt during the final ceremony, he confessed that he was heartbroken. As soon as Lynn arrived, Kuda apologized for not giving her a "safe space for communication" in their relationship.
Lynn accepted his apology and admitted that she had much to apologize for herself.
"I was a nightmare to come home to. I was angry, I was resentful. And I was just waiting for your next mistake," she said.
For her final EyeDetect question, Lynn was asked if she wanted to end her relationship with Kuda, to which she answered, "No." However, when EyeDetect called it a lie, Lynn explained that she was unsure about her answer. She added that Kuda's "snuggle" with Star prompted her to reevaluate his commitment.
The Love Never Lies: South Africa star also mentioned that Kuda's flirtatious demeanor prevented her from trusting him wholeheartedly. Kuda tried to defend himself by saying he acted that way in "jest" to appear petty. Later, the Love Never Lies: South Africa star admitted that he did that out of spite after seeing Lynn's connection with Veezo.
When Kuda was asked if he had outgrown Lynn, he answered "Yes" which EyeDetect confirmed. He mentioned that he could not see any introspection in Lynn, but he had continuously strived to improve himself.
During a one-on-one conversation, he criticized Lynn for slandering his character on national television. In contrast, Lynn expressed that his consistent absence from her life added to her resentment. She acknowledged that she harbored "toxicity" inside her.
"At the moment, it's just shaky. I don't know where we stand. It's neither here nor there," Kuda said.
Love Never Lies: South Africa reunion will be released on Sunday, December 8, 2024, exclusively on Netflix.
