Love is Blind UK aired its season finale this week on Wednesday, August 21, 2024. During the segment, the cast members' wedding days were featured, and while some walked away, happily married, others left the social experiment unmarried.

One such couple was Catherine and Freddie who didn't get married during the season finale after the latter said no. The cast member believed that their timing might not be right and that they still needed to get to know each other better.

Fans of the show took to social media to react to Freddie saying "No" at the altar and said their wishes came true. One person wrote on X:

Love is Blind UK finale: Freddie decides against marrying Catherine

In Love is Blind UK season finale, Catherine and Freddie's family members met the cast members respectively before the two met at the altar where they recited their vows. The minister told the Netflix stars it was time to discover whether love truly was blind. While Catherine said yes, Freddie said no.

He explained that although he loved her, Freddie was concerned that she was trying to be the person she thought the Netflix star wanted her to be. Later in the episode, Freddie approached Catherine's parents to apologize to them and told them that he did love her. When asked about his plans with her, he said:

"I'm hoping that we're still gonna pursue a life together. We're still gonna live together and make it work. I want her in my life," Freddie said.

He added that he hoped they could work on things they needed to, and come out "stronger."

He later spoke to Catherine and apologized to her. He asked her whether she understood his reasons for saying no. He assured her that although it was going to "be hard," he was going to be there and that her family was also there to support her.

The Love is Blind UK cast member told Freddie she didn't know how to "pick" herself up because she was ready to commit to him. Catherine added she never wanted to walk down the aisle again.
