"Narcissist"— The Real Housewives of Orange County fans react to Alexis sending Shannon flowers on her birthday

The Real Housewives of Orange County season 18 aired episode 13, titled, You Are Cordially Not Invited, on Thursday, October 3, 2024. The segment saw Shannon celebrating her 60th birthday and receiving an unexpected gift.

The gift was actually a bouquet which was sent by Alexis Bellino, who was romantically involved with Shannon’s ex, John Jannsen. The note attached to the flowers stated that Alexis wanted to extend an "olive branch" to the RHOC star in light of the ongoing lawsuit involving Shannon and John.

While the season 18 cast member was appreciative of the gesture, she said it was “too late” and that she was uninterested in being on friendly terms with Alexis.

Fans reacted to the gesture and were critical of Alexis sending Shannon flowers on her birthday:

"Alexis having flowers sent to the event proves how much of a narcissist she really is!"

"Alexis sent flowers to Shannon’s birthday in order to have a moment, it had nothin to do with extending an “olive branch”," a fan commented.

The Real Housewives of Orange County fans felt "Johnnie J" or John was behind sending the flowers:

"Alexis (really Johnnie J) sending Shannon flowers at her birthday tea lunch just shows how pathetic and vindictive they are, just trying to ruin her party!" a person wrote.

"Alexis isn’t smart enough to have done that on her own …..ahem, Johnny although it’s reminiscent of Margaret sending Tre Stump funeral flowers (which was actually hilarious)," a fan commented.

"STFU Tamra we all know damn well Alexis would not be sending Shannon flowers unless she cleared it with John first!!" a tweet read.

The Real Housewives of Orange County season 18 fans further said:

In The Real Housewives of Orange County season 18 episode 3, Shannon received a bouquet from Alexis at her 60th birthday party. She wondered if it was from one of the other cast members but was shocked to find out who they were from.

She read the note and informed the cast it was from Alexis. The note stated that Alexis wanted the bouquet to be an "olive branch" so they could have a fresh start. Emily asked Shannon's thoughts on the gesture and she replied that she appreciated it. Shannon added that she didn't want to spend her birthday talking about it but it was "nine weeks too late."

"I feel like there's been a lot of unkind things done, and I have no interest in being friendly with her," Shannon stated.

The Real Housewives of Orange County season 18 cast member stated she didn't think anyone in her position would "feel differently." Emily chimed in on the situation during her confessional. She said how many "peace offerings" Alexis wanted to offer to Shannon while being involved in a lawsuit and "talking sh*t" about her.

Heather responded that it was a difficult position for Shannon to be in, while Shannon felt John was behind it. She said "coach" told her to do it.

Fans reacted to the segment and were critical of Alexis's "peace offering" to Shannon.
