Love is Blind UK officially wrapped up its pilot season with a reunion special that aired on Monday, August 26, 2024. Couples who made it to the finale were seated on the stage with the shots while the rest of the pod squad sat in the audience. However, Sam Klein, who was briefly engaged to Nicole, made an appearance midway and answered questions on the stage.

One of the things the hosts wanted clarity about was Sam and Benaiah's conversation at the mixer, featured in episode 8. At the time, Sam Klein had told Benaiah that Nicole wanted to sleep with him, but he turned her down. During the reunion, Nicole stated his statements were "hurtful" and untrue, and Sam apologized for the same after Demi told him to.

Love is Blind UK reunion: Sam reflects upon his relationship with Nicole

Sam Klein joined the Love is Blind UK cast midway through the reunion special and was asked about his time on the reality show. Matt asked about Sam's comments about wondering whether he would not be able to "pick up Nicole".

Sam chimed in on the comment he made in the pods while in conversation with some of the other cast members and said he got "nervous." He said he was just a "human" who said things "out of nerves." He clarified that he didn't mean "any harm" by it.

"I'm not a bad person, it was honestly just nervousness," Sam added.

He was also asked about his argument with Benaiah during episode 8. Recalling the exchange, Sam said he felt the Love is Blind UK cast member was "a little bit off" with him. He added that the confrontation blindsided him because he thought it was going to go in a different direction."

Sam added that he wished that none of that took place, including him telling Benaiah that Nicole wanted to sleep with him.

The Netflix audience publicly reacted to the interaction and was unhappy. They felt the cast member was being dishonest and slammed him for his comments towards Nicole.
