Sister Wives season 19 aired episode 2, titled, Let There Be Light, on Sunday, September 22, 2024. The segment featured a conversation about a certain text message exchange from the year before the latest season was filmed. Christine and Robyn chimed in on the situation and revealed how it impacted their children's relationships with one another.
While Robyn claimed the older children felt the situation was "emotionally unsafe" and wanted to take a step back. She added they never wanted to exclude other cast members. Christine, however, stated that she was welcoming towards Robyn and her children.
Aurora and Breanna, Kody, and Robyn's daughters also chimed in on the situation. Aurora said that multiple members of the family told her she was not part of the family, while the latter said that the parents could have done a better job ensuring they stayed connected.
Fans reacted to the conflicted statements about what happened between the children and felt Robyn "influenced" her children. One person wrote on X:
"Robyn has influenced her kids to believe the other wives don’t like them either! Nasty work"
"Robyn has gaslit her own children into believing bad things about the other kids, to enhance her tableau of victimhood. It is disgraceful behavior. Her kids now give off the same woe-is-me, sad sack aura as their ghastly mom," a fan commented.
"It’s crazy how much Robyn has manipulated her kids," a tweet read.
Some Sister Wives season 19 fans blamed Robyn and Kody.
"Robyn’s kids took on their mother’s trait of playing victim. Because these flashbacks tell a different story," a fan commented.
"Bs Robyn, you and Kody were fine keeping the kids separate. It showed, they weren't close with the other kids which is bad. Remember he bought motorbikes for just Robyn's kids," a tweet read.
Sister Wives season 19 fans sided with Robyn and her kids, calling Christine clueless, claiming that she "invalidates" Robyn's kids feelings.
"Christine is clueless. She invalidates Robyn’s kids feelings on never being welcomed into the family by saying ‘they were invited everywhere.’ But how did you (and your kids) treat them when you all were together?" a person wrote.
"(1) And Robyn’s kids were also bullied by other kids in the family. If my memory serves correctly, there was an incident where some of Christine and Janelle’s kids were bullying Robyn’s kids. None of the adults stepped in except for Meri," a fan commented.
