The Voice season 26 aired a new episode on October 14, 2024, on NBC. Thirteen contestants performed in the fifth Blind Auditions, out of which, eleven were picked by the coaches Reba, Gwen Stefani, Michael Bublé, and Snoop Dog.

Dahlia, a 28-year-old, Minneapolis resident, chose to sing Amy Winehouse's You Know I'm No Good. While she sang it well, she was one of the two contestants who received no chair turns from the four coaches. Drake Hyde was another 21-year-old who didn't impress the coaches enough to get a chair turn.

Fans of The Voice flocked to X to express their disappointment with no coaches turning for Dahlia's performance. They appreciated her voice, and her song choice, and urged for her to come back in the next season. Some of them even wondered why the coaches didn't turn for her.

"Dahlia need to come back..Surprised no one turned," said one fan.
"I hate that nobody turned for Dahlia. She should come back next season," said another fan.
"Exactly! I mean . . . I know the coaches have to be a bit picky, but come on!! Dahlia should've made it!" wrote another one.
"Dahlia Jones so vocally present from the opening. Love the song choice. She was riding the rhythm and pushing those vocals out with a little husk in her midrange, much brighter in her upper range. but... #TheVoice #VoiceBlinds Snoop said 'too good' Why not turn?" added another.

Some The Voice fans praised Dahlia's performance, while others called out the coaches. Netizens thought her performance was better than other contestants who got chair turns.

"Camryn got four chairs... Dahlia should have too!!!" a fan chimed in.
"RIGHT, I actually thought Dahlia was better," a fan commented.
"YES, judges got this one WRONG regarding Dahlia," another fan said.

Dahlia performed You Know I'm No Good in The Voice season 26 episode 5

With the season already reaching its part 5 of Blind Auditions, the coaches were reluctant to pick contestants for their teams because their roosters were almost full. They wanted to keep space for the final Blind Auditions in episode 6.

Dahlia's performance on The Voice season 26 came at a time when the competition was more intense than ever before. She was introduced as a proud mother of a four-year-old daughter. Dahlia shared that she was away from her daughter at the moment and that was the longest they had ever been separated. She said her day job was to motivate children to be kind to each other.

After her performance on Amy Winehouse's You Know I'm No Good, Gwen Stefani noted that the teams were filling up fast and that's why she was reluctant to turn her chair. However, she called her an "amazing" singer.

Michael said that since he knew Amy, he had a hard time not comparing Dahlia's performance to that of the legend. This made him take a back seat on turning his chair. It made Dahlia tear up, but Michael said she should keep trying.

Snoop consoled her saying "You are very good," Reba asked her to keep her "spirits up high" and urged her to try again.

The Voice season 26's next episode titled The Blind Auditions, Part 6 will air on October 15 at 8 PM ET on NBC.
