The Circle Season 7 released Episodes 5-8 on Wednesday, September 18, 2024. Episode 7 bid farewell to Heather, aka Andy, after Madelyn schemed Heather's exit to save herself and Rachel from elimination. Before Heather left the building she chose to have her last conversation with Madelyn.
With Heather's eviction, Madelyn and Rachel's role as disruptors ended and they returned to their original profiles. However, Madelyn decided to continue stirring the pot by deceiving the players in the same episode. She lied and said that Andy informed her about someone's disloyalty, implying that it was Darian. She aimed to weaken Darian's position and eventually send him packing by turning people against him.
She found her first supporter in Kevin, who despite being in an alliance with Darian agreed to backstab him. Madelyn convinced him by lying that Darian intended to betray him by siding with his Circle wife, Jadejha. Feeling threatened he agreed to jeopardize Darian's game by allying with Madelyn.

The Circle fans were furious at Madelyn's gameplay. They criticized Kevin for switching sides so quickly. They took to X to express their views on the duo's secret alliance.
"Madelyn and Kevin need to go I can’t stand them can’t believe how much of a flip flopper Kevin is how are you turning on every alliance you make," a fan wrote.
"Kevin and Madelyn should date. They both lie so much and come up with stories so easily," another fan commented.

The Circle fans called out Madelyn for unnecessarily villainizing Darian. They felt her story against him was inappropriate, and projected her in a negative light.

What happened between Madelyn and Kevin in The Circle Season 7 Episode 7?
After Heather, playing Andy, left the house, Madelyn took to the Circle Chat to inform the others about her conversation with Andy. She implied that Andy accused Darian of being disloyal. However, it was a lie Madelyn told to cause drama.
"Heather really didn't give me that much tea, but it could be a good strategic move to make something up and get people mad at somebody," Madelyn said.
Although she did not reveal any names, her hints steered everyone's attention towards Darian. Later in the episode, Kevin invited Madelyn to a private chat, seeking more information on the saboteur's identity. Madelyn confirmed she was talking about Darian, revealing that he intended to betray the Bro Alliance.
"Andy told me that Darian planned on ranking you towards the bottom to save his Circle wife and her alliances," Madelyn added.
Surprised by the revelation, Kevin agreed to change his game plan and joined forces with Madelyn. Madelyn was pleased to see that Kevin bought her story. He confessed he trusted Madelyn more than Darian, whom he did not know "on a personal level."
Going ahead in the competition, The Circle cast members promised to give each other their number-one ranks and "get as many people to put Darian last."
