Love Island USA season 6 viewers saw many relationships crumble after the Casa Amor recoupling in episode 22. One such couple was Serena and Kordell, who broke up after the latter decided to couple up with 'bombshell' Daia.
Feeling betrayed, Serena humiliated Kordell for blindsiding her and disrespecting their relationship. Kordell tried to defend himself, justifying his actions, but Serena refused to reason with him.
In the latest episode, which aired on Tuesday, July 9, Daia informed Serena that she was planning to break up with Kordell because he did not treat her how she deserved to be treated. While Serena listened quietly, Daia confessed she could have built something with Kordell if things went her way. She criticized his childish behavior, telling Serena she could have him if she wanted to.

Love Island USA fans were appalled by Daia's attempt to "manipulate" Serena's feelings for Kordell by criticizing his character and announcing her decision to break up with him. They took to X (formerly Twitter) to express their take on the situation.

Netizens disapproved of Daia trying to influence Serena's perspective about Love Island USA season 6 co-star Kordell.

Daia and Kordell sever all ties on Love Island USA season 6
Daia told Love Island USA co-star Serena that she would break up with Kordell because he treated her disrespectfully. She also mentioned that she was fed up with his childlike demeanor.
"I'm, like, just gonna pull him [Kordell] and just cut things off," said Daia.
She built a poor image of Kordell in front of Serena and said that the latter could continue her relationship with him if she wanted to. She stated he treated her as his "side piece," and that was not what she deserved.
"Anyway, do with the information what you will. I wish you the best, so I hope y'all figure it out. I'll get out of the way," Daia continued.
Later, in the same episode of Love Island USA, Kordell told Daia that he wished to pursue his feelings for Serena. Before he could break up with her, she mentioned she was uninterested in what he had to say and broke up with him instead. She further accused him of being disrespectful and dishonest. Then she went to Serena and said, "He's all yours."
"I literally won't even look in his direction. I don't even wanna be in the same room as him, to be honest. Like, I'm kind of over it," said Daia.
Kordell reassured his Love Island USA ex Serena that he was more inclined toward her, and asked her for a chance to mend their relationship.
