The Ultimatum: South Africa featured a six-way couple swap for people in a relationship, with an ultimatum to either marry or move on. One of the couples who appeared on the show was Aiden and Courtney who had been together for seven years, when Courtney issued her partner with an ultimatum.

In episode 2 of the series, Aiden comforted Thabi when she was crying about Genesis. Later in the show, Aiden was paired with Lebo but the two quickly realized that their connection was solely platonic. When Lebo found out that Nolla had cheated on her, Aiden tried to comfort her as well as Ruth later in the episode about their time on the show.

Aiden consoles Thabi, Lebo, and Ruth in The Ultimatum: South Africa

In The Ultimatum: South Africa, Aiden was seen as a comforting character to various cast members.

In episode 2, Thabi expressed her disappointed that her "ex" Genesis wasn't talking to her, and Aiden asked her if she was okay.

A few minutes later, Thabi left the party in tears and Aiden followed to comfort her. She told him that she was the one who brought Genesis on the show so it was okay. Aiden told her not to blame herself and the female cast member asked him if her face looked fine. He said it did.

Aiden gave her a hug and reminded her that she would be okay. He later brought Thabi a drink to cheer her up. Later in the season, the cast member was paired up with Lebo but the two realized quite early that they could just be friends.

When Lebo confronted Nolla about him cheating on her with Ruth, Aiden stood by the female cast member and tried to mediate the conversation. To ensure her comfort, he tried calling a break between the two. When Nolla involved Ruth's partner into the conflict, Aiden tried to be the neutral person in that conflict as well.

Isaac confided in Aiden and told The Ultimatum: South Africa cast member that he knew that there was something physical going on between Ruth and Nolla. Isaac and Ruth also got into an argument, after which, the female cast member broke down.

Aiden comforted the cast member and told her it wasn't her fault. He sat with her while she cried.
