Sister Wives season 19 released a new episode on Sunday, December 29, 2024. The episode featured Christine shopping for wedding dresses with the help of her daughters Aspyn, Ysabel, and Mykelti. After trying on multiple dresses, she finally found the one she wished to wear on her wedding day. Christine felt overjoyed and looked forward to starting life with partner David Woolley.
While Christine's daughters gushed over how beautiful their mother looked in the lacy white gown, Christine beamed with happiness, content with her overall appearance.
However, Sister Wives fans were unimpressed by the documentation of Christine's wedding preparations. They took to X to criticize TLC for showcasing past events, particularly Christine and David's wedding journey, which they had already aired in a two-part special episode in January 2024.
"Not seeing Christine still trying on wedding dresses. This is like a never-ending nightmare," a fan wrote.
"Who’s ever decision it was to have a Christine Gets Married TV Special on last year & then document her whole relationship with all these stupid parties should be FIRED!" another fan commented.
"Oh great Christine is still trying on wedding dresses. Honestly @TLC if you have no content for #SisterWives then just shut it down," a netizen tweeted.
Sister Wives fans were displeased to see Christine try on wedding dresses and criticized TLC for dragging her and David's plotline.
"Confession: we’ve already seen Christine get married. Idgaf about the planning or these parties or the route to the marriage. She’s had a whole wedding special. Let’s move on!" a user reacted.
"Christine’s wedding dress AGAIN??? Hey @TLC we already saw Christine get married!!! Please, stop it!" a person commented.
"christine still planning her wedding (that we’ve already seen) on here and meri having filler conversations with her friends .. what are we doing here forreal ??" another fan wrote.
"Cr*p things were getting good and now we’re back to Christine’s wedding dresses," one user posted.
Other Sister Wives fans expressed a similar discontent.
"Tlc if you are focusing on Christine then could you expand the content on things other than last years wedding?" a person reacted.
"Another freaking celebration for Christine??? Are you kidding me @TLC??? Stop it! This is not the Christine show! Where’s Janelle? It really sucks!!!" another netizen commented.
"It's noticeable that she loves it" — Sister Wives' Ysabel comments on Christine's wedding dress
After multiple trials, Christine finally found the dress she wanted to wear at her wedding and called it a huge "success." Ysabel called it her "favorite" out of all the other ones that Christine had tried. Meanwhile, Aspyn confessed that her mother looked "gorgeous" and the dress was perfect.
"So my mom loves the dress. And she looks very beautiful. It's noticeable that she loves it," Ysabel added.
Aspyn was equally complimentary and stated that the dress encompassed everything Christine had wanted her wedding dress to have. While speaking to the cameras, the Sister Wives star declared that her daughters' support meant everything since they were her "best friends." She confessed she had not anticipated how "incredible" it would feel to look at dresses with her daughters.
While looking at herself in the mirror, Christine expressed that she felt "beautiful, and glamorous, and s*xy." She added that she felt like a bride, a feeling she did not experience with her ex-husband, Kody.
In another confessional, the Sister Wives cast member mentioned that she had no idea that being a bride "would feel so flippin' fun." Christine felt content sharing the experience with her daughters, excited to start the next phase of her life.
Christine and David tied the knot on October 7, 2023, in an outdoor setting in Moab, Utah.
Sister Wives airs new episodes every Sunday at 10 pm ET exclusively on TLC.
