American fashion designer and actor Nicole Richie got candid about her short-lived rift with Paris Hilton while they were filming The Simple Life in their 20s. The two socialites turned business moguls starred in the mega-hit series that premiered in 2003 and ran for five seasons. Richie and Hilton reteamed for Peacock's latest Paris & Nicole: The Encore.
Looking back, Nicole Richie told People in an exclusive published on Friday, December 20, that their rift was one of "not the best moments" in her life. She said:
"I think anytime you are separated from your loved ones, it's not the best moments. But Paris and I have more of a sisterhood that I would say, a standard friendship."
Richie recalled her long history with Hilton, saying that they've been in each other's lives since they were two years old. And because of that, she said that it was "so exciting" to be able to work together again for Paris & Nicole: The Encore.
