Married to Medicine Season 11 released Episode 6, Rodeo Reckoning, on Sunday, January 5, 2025. It showcased the cast members grappling with the aftermath of Contessa and Heavenly's explosive argument. Although they confronted Contessa and Heavenly about their hurtful comments, Contessa claimed they let Heavenly off the hook too easily.
During a sit-down in which the cast tried to hash out their differences, Simone said she did not know what triggered Contessa and Heavenly to lock horns with one another. Upon hearing that, Contessa criticized her and the others for pretending not to know what caused the fight to escalate, despite hearing everything Heavenly had said. She claimed they turned a blind eye to Heavenly's actions.
"I'm so sick of these women letting Heavenly off the hook. I'm so over it," Contessa said.

She disapproved of the ladies' advice to overlook Heavenly's remarks, stating it was high time Heavenly took accountability for her actions instead of getting the benefit of the doubt.
However, Married to Medicine fans disagreed with Contessa. They criticized her for playing the "victim" and not owning up to her own remarks. They took to X to call out Contessa for expecting the group to check Heavenly instead of discussing her comments on Heavenly's private life.
"Contessa … PLEASE … you started with Heavenly and now you wanna cry victim and look for everybody else to give a damn? No girl," a fan wrote.

While returning home from the party, Contessa complained to Sweet Tea and Toya about the others giving leeway to Heavenly by explaining and justifying her behavior. During a confessional, the Married to Medicine cast member stated she struggled to understand why the rest of the group treated Heavenly's demeanor as "normal."
"This is what friendship looks like? And I'm the one who's the problem? Then no, this ain't the group for me," she added.
In another segment of the Married to Medicine episode, Contessa told Phaedra that she lost her calm only after Heavenly commented on her deceased mother, despite knowing how important she was to her. Elsewhere, Heavenly, while speaking to Quad and Jackie, admitted that it was wrong of her to involve Contessa's late mother in their argument.
Heavenly accepted her mistake, saying she was prepared to take accountability for her comments because she knew how it felt when someone disrespected one's deceased parents.
The Married to Medicine star recalled when she used to be friends with Contessa and speak on the phone for hours. It made her wonder what issue caused their friendship to crack and if they would ever reconcile.
