"No more playing nice"— The Challenge fans react to Tori Deal and Johnny Bananas' feud

MTV's The Challenge: Battle of the Eras aired a brand new episode on Wednesday, October 23, 2024. The segment saw the remaining contestants compete in another daily challenge and another elimination that sent one of them home.

The episode saw the contestants work as individuals instead of in teams, sparking new rivalries. Notably, Tori Deal and Johnny "Bananas" Devenanzio attempted to eliminate one another. Tori wanted to target Bananas to avenge her "Ride or Die" partner, Devin Walker, who was eliminated last week.

She, along with Jordan Wiseley, decided to send Bananas into the upcoming elimination against Ryan. However, the male cast member emerged victorious and made his targets known.

Johnny Bananas calls Tori Deal Devin's "main cult member" in The Challenge: Battle of the Eras

In The Challenge: Battle of the Eras episode 10, Tori and Jordan contemplated sending Bananas into the upcoming elimination. Bananas wanted to sway their decision and talked to the pair. Since Tori wanted to target him to avenge Devin, Bananas questioned Tori for letting Devin target him in the past.

He said that Devin tried to play an "innocent game" while acting as a puppeteer and asked Tori if that was the kind of game she wanted to play. He added that he was ready to "get to living or get to dying" and asked The Challenge season 40 star to "buckle up."

Tori and Jordan stood firm in their decision and sent Bananas against Ryan. However, Tori's strategy wasn't fruitful, as her target emerged victorious. After the task, The Challenge season 40 male cast member picked the targets for next week's episode and targeted the rest of Devin's friends.

He explained that he would have liked to target "Devin's main cult member," Tori, but since she was off the table, he targeted Nia, Olivia, and Michele.
