"Nobody cares about my side"— Love Is Blind star Stephen speaks up about the cheating scandal during reunion

The reunion episode of Love Is Blind season 7 premiered on October 30, 2024, which features all the individuals who were able to capture the hearts of the audience worldwide. 29 singles entered the show and only 2 couples managed to say "I do" at the altar.

During the show, Monica and Stephen made a connection and even went to Cabo for the honeymoon phase with other couples. However, as time went by, Monica noticed a lack of spark between the two. Monica made her feelings clear in front of her partner which he acknowledged and the two moved on.

Later, the camera showcased a tearful Monica who confronted Stephen on Love Is Blind season 7 for texting someone from his past in a "se*ual manner". With no explanation in sight, Stephen acknowledged his mistake and the two broke up.

Stephen's alleged cheating and texting scandal came up again during the reunion where Monica claimed that Stephen didn't have any respect for her and questioned if he wrote a letter to her parents just so he could boast about it at the reunion.

Stephen wrote a letter to apologize to Monica's parents after the show and expressed that no one was interested in his side of the story and was just ready to blame him.

"To be honest, I don't think anybody believes me, wants to hear, so at the end of the day, why should I? Nobody wants to believe me. Nobody cares about my side of the story," said Stephen.

He further took responsibility for his actions and had taken actions to change as he stated:

"I acknowledge one hundred percent, that I messed up. I've done everything that I thought I could do. I talked to my parents... I've read books, I go to therapy," revealed Stephen.

Monica was glad that Stephen opened up about him cheating on Love Is Blind season 7

During the Love Is Blind journey, Monica was surprised by Stephen's sudden admission about him texting other girls before they even got to see each other face-to-face. Rather than getting mad about the situation, Monica thanked Stephen for sharing such information with her early on in their relationship.

When Vanessa Lachey asked Monica if she regretted forgiving Stephen since the same thing happened later and was detrimental to their relationship, Monica disagreed. According to her, she had no regrets because they had multiple conversations about it which the rest of the world didn't see as it was cut out from the show.

Monica appreciated that Stephen was the first guy to come forward in her life when others had done the same as well.

"I've dated a lot of cheaters and not any one, until Stephen had been honest about an indiscretion. So I very much appreciated the fact that he was telling me this so early into our relationship," stated Monica.

Monica has found love again after Love Is Blind

When talking to Tudum by Netflix, Monica disclosed a new development in her love life as she revealed that she was "madly in love" with someone. Monica expressed that she gained a lot of dating know-how from her appearance on Love Is Blind season 7, and now at the "ripe and tender age of 36" wanted to take that into real-world dating.

She further revealed that the person she was dating met her through a dating app a year before Monica first appeared in the pods. After a few dates, they stopped talking as they moved on with their lives and Monica appeared on Love Is Blind. They later rekindled when her journey on the show ended, which Monica felt was for the best as now she knew exactly what she wanted.
