Selling Sunset Season 8 aired all 11 episodes together on September 6, 2024. The latest installment of the reality show revolving around the Oppenheim Group featured several story lines including one about Nicole Young talking about Emma Hernan's alleged affair with a married man.
While the cast member didn't discuss the rumor with Emma head-on, she spoke of it on several different occasions, including in a scene with Amanza Smith, Mary Fitzgerald, and Alanna Gold, which was also featured in the trailer on the show. Soon after the trailer was released, Nicole's co-stars, Chelsea Lazkani and Chrishell Stause criticized the cast member online for her remarks.
Although Nicole didn't participate in the online banter, she chimed in on the social media feud in a recent conversation with Netflix's Tudum on September 16, 2024. She said that online feuds took a lot of energy and it wasn't something she wanted to get involved in.
"Not a good look for anyone," she said.
Nicole also said it was "a lot" and that she wanted to public to see for themselves when the show came out.

In a recent conversation with Netflix's Tudum, Selling Sunset Season 8 cast member Nicole Young opened up about Chrishell Stause and Chelsea Lazkani. She was asked about how she was doing and the reality star said she was "doing okay.
Nicole added that it was hard since she felt like she was "constantly" on the defense. She explained that she didn't react to Chrishell and Chelsea's comments online because she wanted to take a "backseat" until the show came out. She added that she wanted to give the Netflix audience a chance to judge for themselves.
The Selling Sunset Season 8 star said it was "a lot" and that online feuds took "so much energy." Nicole added that she didn't think it was a "good look" for anyone involved. The reality television celebrity stated that since they were making a "dramatic reality show" they were going to have "a bit of mud" on their faces.
She added that she knew she was going to face backlash over certain parts but was shocked by the online comments.
"But when I woke up that next morning to trash-can emojis and everything that happened from there on out, I was really shocked. It was just like, "OK, here we go again,"" Nicole said.
The Selling Sunset Season 8 star said she knew that there were things that the other cast members may have been unaware of. She said she needed to be "patient" and wait for her moment to share her side of the story.
Nicole chimed in on the dynamics of the cast while recalling Season 6 events when she was accused of doing drugs. She said there was a "double standard" and that people often jumped "ship" to be on someone's side. For the unversed, in Season 6, Chrishell Stause had accused Nicole of being on drugs.
The Selling Sunset Season 8 star called the situation "frustrating" and asked where the "same energy" was when she was being attacked over false information. She also further commented on her Pioneertown scene with Mary Fitzerald and Amanza Smtih. Recalling Mary asking Amanza whether "that" was still going on, Nicole said it was evident she knew what Nicole was talking about.
She stated she was uncertain why Mary would say Nicole was lying. She further said that she was given the information about Emma from someone who she had known for years.
