"Not a good look" — The Challenge fans divided by Nurys Mateo criticizing Laurel Stucky's “disgusting personality”

The Challenge: Battle of the Eras aired episode 12 on November 6, 2024, and saw Laurel Stucky get eliminated after she seemingly quit the show during the daily challenge. However, her co-star Nurys Mateo, who was eliminated earlier in the season, took to social media to criticize Laurel.

In a series of tweets, the cast member stated that Laurel had a "disgusting personality," called her a "miserable b*tch," and recalled telling the cast member not to talk about her. The online criticism was related to the cast member talking about Nurys and Horacio during an Instagram Live that has since been deleted.

"I got him" — The Challenge: Battle of The Eras star Nurys claps back at Laurel for talking about Horacio

In a series of tweets posted on November 6, 2024, The Challenge season 40 star Nurys Mateo criticized Laurel Stucky after the latter spoke about her and her boyfriend, Horacio, during an Instagram Live.

In her first tweet, Nurys said Laurel was an "ugly old" woman who had no friends. She added that she would be "getting extra violated" and that Nurys was about to embarrass her. She added that she had previously told Laurel to keep her name out of her mouth but since the cast member continued to talk about her, Nurys had "something for her."

Nurys criticized the MTV star by saying she had "no life," "no friends," "no man," "no woman," "no kids," and the "most disgusting personality" at the age of 40.

"And not only that but the man you wanted NEVER wanted you and I got him," she said referring to Horacio and Laurel's brief showmance in season 38.

While defending her tweets against some fans, Nurys said The Challenge season 40 star "deserves it" because she did it to "everyone else." The MTV star added that it was time Laurel got a taste of "her own medicine."

Although the original video of Laurel's Instagram is no longer available, fans reposted a screen recording of the same on X. In the video, the cast member stated she read one of Nurys' "weird tweets" about Laurel being angry.

"Yeah that girl's angry all the time. She's just mad that Horacio said that I was the biggest blessing that he ever received from The Challenge."
