“NOT THE IT GIRL”— Love & Marriage: Detroit fans react to Kristina and Kimberly’s fight

Love & Marriage: Detroit season 2 episode 5 was released on October 5, 2024, on OWN. In the latest segment, viewers saw Brandon finally surprising Kristina on her birthday, with the ring he bought in the previous episode. The fight between Kolby and Chelsea from the last episode also continued at the dinner table.

Kristina said she was going to sit down with Kimberly, her long-reigning friend turned enemy, to talk things out. But when they met at a restaurant, their chat turned into a fight again. Kimberly brought with her a notebook, which she said had the accounts of their old fights to refer from.

Kristina took to a Love & Marriage: Detroit confessional to criticize the bookkeeping but she too pulled out her notebook to level it off. Kimberly argued that Kristina tried to copy her, but the latter denied it with reasons.

Between their fight, Kimberly pulled out trash from her bag and threw it on the floor towards Kristina. Fans of Love & Marriage: Detroit took to X to comment on this whole situation.

"Kimberly is NOT THE IT GIRL she thinks she is," one fan wrote.

"Kimberly and Kristina just either move on or call it a wash because all this back and forth is pointless," another X user wrote.

"Is it possible that Kristina and Kimberly can’t find a resolve because they’re just alike?" a third fan added.

"New lady (Kimberly) how did she know that you gonna bring note book now you’re lying," another fan said.

Some Love & Marriage: Detroit fans reacted to Kimberly throwing the trash out to Kristina between their fight.

"It’s the people looking back as Kimberly throws these clothes/props on the ground," another fan wrote.

"So Kimberly didn’t have good intentions because she planned to throw clothes before she even got there," a third fan wrote.

"Them ladies in that restaurant was entertained at Kimberly and Kristina lol that would have been me," another fan said.

The fight between Kimberly and Kristina on Love & Marriage: Detroit episode 5 season 2

As soon as the ladies reached the restaurant and sat down, Kimberly pulled out her notebook and asked Kristina not to mind her because she wanted it in case she needed to refer to something from the past.

In a Love & Marriage: Detroit confessional, Kristina showed surprise at the fact that Kimberly had been jotting down all their fights from the past six years in a notebook; she then proceeded to pull out her own notebook. Kimberly told the cameras that like everything, Kristina was copying her here as well.

Kristina wanted to address their District 78 fight where Kimberly alleged that Kristina wanted to be like her. She demanded to know where that came from. Kimberly replied that she was always cooperative with her but Kristina was in a competition with her. She added everything she did was copied by Kristina.

Kristina stated she didn't recall Kimberly being an influencer like herself when they were friends. That's when Kimberly cut her off and asked her to stop talking because according to her, she was an influencer back then as well. Kimberly added that she had her blog for ten years

Trying to defend herself, Kristina said she was a brand ambassador for many brands and that she was naturally influential. Kimberly argued that she started it only after they stopped being friends and that she wasn't an influencer before but a fashion designer.

Kimberly doubled down by bringing up Kristina's surprise birthday party, where even though she wasn't invited she got the news that Kristina had talked about her. When Kristina denied the claims, Kimberly threw big pieces of fabric on the floor and asked Kristina to take the trash because she was a "liar".
