"OBLITERATED Alexis" — The Real Housewives of Orange County fans react to Shannon's confrontation with the cast member

The second part of The Real Housewives of Orange County reunion aired on Thursday, November 14, 2024. One of the episode's highlights was the confrontation between Shannon and Alexis.

The pair clashed throughout the season regarding John Janssen and the lawsuit he filed against his ex-partner, Shannon. At the reunion, the ladies addressed their disputes, however, their conversation soon turned explosive.

Shannon claimed Alexis was involved in her ex-husband's defamation lawsuit against Tamra and her, but the female cast member denied the accusation. Shannon defended herself by saying she had proof and also won the case. The other housewives stood up for Shannon and said she did not defame anybody, criticizing Alexis for calling her a liar.

Watching Alexis stand her ground and not take accountability for her actions, Shannon retorted by mentioning she took her job ten years ago and was still a part of the cast. She urged Alexis not to call her a "liar face," and to look in the mirror if she wanted to find one.

The Real Housewives of Orange County fans took to X to comment on Shannon and Alexis' confrontation. They were impressed by how Shannon defended herself, while calling Alexis out for coming at her throughout season 18.

"Shannon just OBLITERATED Alexis and we’re all SEATED," a fan wrote.

"Shannon doesn’t let Alexis neck go," another fan commented.

"Seeing Shannon eat Alexis up at this reunion should be a new religion!" a netizen tweeted.

The Real Housewives of Orange County fans applauded how Shannon confronted Alexis at the reunion.

"shannon just single handledly turned alexis into a ball of dimwitted delusion and i’m beyond proud of her. alexis is about to short circuit," a user reacted.

"Alexis coming back to takedown Shannon on John’s behalf just to get whacked by BOTH couches!" a person commented.

"Lmao SHANNON!! Oh, she clocked Alexis so hard here because she said what all of us were thinking," another fan wrote.

Other The Real Housewives of Orange County fans criticized Alexis for thinking she could take down Shannon.

"Alexis is Bozo the Clown for thinking she’s dunking on Shannon when 1) Shannon won the lawsuit and 2) has proof that Alexis is involved in the lawsuit," a person reacted.

"Alexis really thought she was going to end Shannon this reunion but now everyone is laughing at her," another netizen commented.

Shannon got into a heated confrontation with Alexis, asking her not to be "John's mouthpiece." She was convinced Alexis rehearsed the lines "There's the door, Shannon Beador" with John in front of the mirror, before saying it to her. Shannon mockingly applauded Alexis for her performance.

The Real Housewives of Orange County star then called Alexis out for lying about her involvement in her ex-husband, Jim's lawsuit, against Tamra and her. Shannon stated she could prove her claim by disclosing the text message Alexis had sent to her. However, when Alexis continued to dismiss the accusation, Shannon retorted saying her time was up since she was only a friend of the cast.

Alexis claimed she sent the text not because she was involved in the defamation case but because she wanted to "protect everybody." The Real Housewives of Orange County star explained she was mentioned as "a person of interest" on the legal document because she was Jim's wife then. Even then, Shannon remained unconvinced and informed host Andy Cohen that she had nothing to fear because she had won the case.

"I didn't do anything wrong. I won. I won," Shannon said.

The Real Housewives of Orange County star recalled when Jim challenged John to a fight, infuriating Shannon. Seeing his aggressive behavior, Shannon refused to settle with him, and eventually won the case. At that point, the other cast members defended Shannon, stating her victory was proof that she did not defame anyone.

Shannon went on to call Alexis "delusional" for believing she did not lie about her involvement. However, when she refused to reason with her, Shannon said, "I took your job ten years ago, I'm still sitting here." She further demeaned Alexis by noting she returned ten years later only "as a friend."

Alexis retaliated, mentioning that she had been on TV for the past 15 years, to which Shannon said:

"Oh! You're a TV star."
