Survivor season 47 aired its season finale this week on Wednesday, December 18, 2024. The segment saw the final four — Rachel, Teeny, Sue, and Sam, compete in another immunity challenge and elimination task at the tribal council, which revealed the top three of the season.

The immunity challenge was an obstacle course with multiple hurdles, however, Rachel aced the task and got to decide who she wanted to take to the final tribal council with her. She chose Sue.

Fans of the reality show commented on Rachel's immunity task win and praised the castaway online.

"That face you make when you tie a 20+ year record for immunity wins in a single season. Rachel is officially a legend," one person wrote on X.
"If Rachel SOMEHOW loses, it just goes to show you can have a crazy immunity idol play, win 4 immunity challenges, great strategic reads, and a good social game and it’s STILL not enough to earn a win as a woman and that would be very disappointing," a fan commented.
"And with that, Rachel is officially the FIRST woman of color to win four individual immunities!" a tweet read.

Fans of Survivor season 47 felt Rachel deserved to win the season.

"So when men win multiple immunities they are beasts and deserve the win. But Rachel being in an elite group of woman and winning 4 immunities is somehow a negative? Make it make sense. She deserves this win and so much respect," a person wrote.
"Rachel not only survived, she dominated! She was the number one threat that just kept winning and outplaying them all. Give her the votes..she deserves it," a fan commented.
"CONGRATS RACHEL FOR BEING THE NEXT SOLE #SURVIVOR!! record-tying 4 immunity wins, a known threat from the start of the merge, social, strategic, a puzzle queen, and you survived your own funeral with a secret idol. EZPZ. Welcome to the pantheon of champions!" a tweet read.

Survivor fans further said:

"Rachel absolutely deserves the win based on the game she played but Sam killed that jury. He said all the right things and made a genuine case when he had none," a person wrote.
"I still think Rachel deserves the win, but Sam had a great final tribal," a fan commented.

Rachel wins her fourth immunity challenge in Survivor season 47 finale

In Survivor season 47 finale, which aired on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, Rachel, Teeny, Sam, and Sue competed in an immunity challenge that decided which two contestants were sent to the final tribal council and who went into the fire-making competition to fight for their lives in the game.

The task included an obstacle course with various stages, and included two puzzles. The first puzzle was a letter combination and the final puzzle was a hanging jigsaw puzzle. The contestants also had to crawl under a muddy net, unweave a rope to acquire a ball they had to use to lower a gate, and collect tiles to solve the first puzzle.

The Survivor season 47 finalists then had to unlock a machete and use it to unhook a ladder and make their way to the hanging bat puzzle. As Jeff Probst announced, Rachel was the first person to solve her hanging bat puzzle, but it was incorrect.

"Rachel thinks she has it. She does not. Something is not right. This challenge is still alive," Jeff said.

He said that the final immunity challenge of Survivor season 47 was still open for everyone else and that puzzles looked right when they were finished. Rachel switched one of the pieces of the puzzle and won the task.

Fans of the CBS reality show chimed in on Rachel's immunity task win and celebrated the cast member. Later in the episode, Rachel was crowned the Sole Survivor of the season.
