The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season 5 episode 14 was released on December 18. The highlight of the episode was Bronwyn opening up to her fellow ladies about her husband Todd's cheating scandal. Earlier in the episode, she also complained about how he refused to come to the hospital with her when she was attacked by a dog.
While this housewife was going through the lows in her relationship, another's relationship was flourishing. Britani posted a video with her beau, Jared, on December 25, wishing her fans a Merry Christmas.
Britani lip-synced on a song and said she had an announcement before Jared walked into the frame, confirming that the two were still together after season 5 saw her say that they were going on and off.
Fans of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City came to X to react to the reel Britani posted on Instagram. Some of them said they found it "cringy".

Some fans of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City thought Britani was doing so because she wanted a storyline to be on the show. Some even criticized her for being with someone who didn't value her from the get-go.

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Britani and Jared's relationship update
In the premiere episode of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season 5, Britani talked about her relationship with Jared. She said that she dated him on and off over the past year. Going into the details of how it had been going for them, Britani said:
"Jared and I have been dating eight months, and we've broken up 16 times...I feel like I'm on this hamster wheel of dating other people, breaking up, and getting back together."
During the October 23 episode of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City After Show, Britani revealed that the last time they broke up was because Jared was on a dating app and had refused to show her his phone. She also called him a "flirt king".
Then in episode 3 of the show, Angie revealed that Jared was messaging her brow girl. She was "surprised" by this because she saw how serious he and Britani were for each other.
On December 23, Jared posted an Instagram video where he announced Britani to be his girlfriend, Britani did the same by posting a story with their picture together.
