"On fire"— America's Got Talent fans divided by Liv Warfield's Live Shows performance 

America's Got Talent returned to screens after a two-week hiatus. The last time the show was on air, it finished finding the 44 acts that made their way to the quarterfinals, 11 of whom performed live on stage in the latest episode.

AGT season 19 episode 9, titled Quarterfinals 1, saw 11 contestants return to the stage as they performed live to win the public over and become one of the three acts to make it to the final. One such cast member was Liv Warfield, who received a Golden Buzzer from Simon Cowell in an episode that aired on June 4, 2024.

As part of her live performance, the season 19 contestant sang a "special song" that the famed singer, Prince, wrote for her. While the judges were impressed with the performance, fans online echoed the sentiment. One person wrote on X:

"Watching #AGT and Liv Warfield gets a 10/10," a tweet read.

Some America's Got Talent season 19 fans were not impressed by her performance:

"Am I alone when I say I'm just not impressed with Liv Warfield? #AGT" a person wrote.

"Liv Warfield did not do it for me. Ouch. #AGT," a fan commented.

"I always feel bad because this is the chance for the singers who don’t have connections to be seen. If the singers such as her are so great why don’t they have contracts already? Just a thought," a tweet read.

America's Got Talent season 19 fans further said that Liv Warfield gave them the "chills":

"CHILLS Liv could win this whole thing #AGT," a person wrote.

"@livwarfield rocked the house tonight! I loved that she sang a song that Prince wrote for her! She tore the roof off the Pasadena Civic Center! Bravo, Liv!!! #AGT," a fan commented.

"This was unbelievable": Simon Cowell praises Liv Warfield's America's Got Talent Live shows performance

In America's Got Talent season 19 episode 9, Liv Warfield took the stage with a band of people as her performance included drums, guitars, saxophones, trumpets, and more.

Liv's performance was met with cheers from the audience and a standing ovation from Heidi Klum and Howie Mandel. Simon Cowell, who pressed his Golden Buzzer for her, was the first judge to give feedback to the singer. He stated he was "speechless."

"I thought you were great the first time, this was unbelievable, honest to God and this was like, it felt to me like all those years you've been climbing up the ladder to get to where you want to be it all came out in these 3 minutes," Simon added.

The AGT season 19 judge added that if the show was the Olympics for singing, Lic would have won the gold medal. He added that the contestant deserved it. Sofia Vergara called the performance "perfection" and said seeing how much it meant for Liv was the best part.

The Modern Family actress said it was "amazing" to have an artist like her on America's Got Talent season 19. Howie Mandal agreed with Simon and said Liv was "great and worthy" of the Golden Buzzer. He stated he was a huge fan of Prince and said the famed singer knew what he was doing when he gave Liv "this gem."

"That was a million-dollar performance. America is crazy if they don't vote for you. That should have been a drop-the-mic moment. Drop your mic, drop your mic," he added.

Heidi stated that everything, including Liv's band, was exciting and that she loved "every second of it."

After the episode aired, AGT fans took to social media to chime in on the performance and praise Liv for it.

America's Got Talent season 19 will return to screens on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, to announce who the audience voted for and who won the Live Shows Golden Buzzer this week.
