Season 6 of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way released episode 14 on September 30. In this episode, Statler and Dempsey resolved their previous fight on the ferry. Statler expressed the need for Dempsey to be more patient during her anxiety attacks, while Dempsey said she struggles to stay calm when spoken to rudely.
They reached a compromise, with Statler agreeing to work on her anxiety and Dempsey offering to help her. Dempsey also mentioned wanting to marry Statler someday.
Fans of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way took to X to criticize Dempsey for the idea. They thought their relationship wasn't stable enough yet for them to be thinking of marriage.
"Dempsey is out of her mind for thinking about marrying Statler!" one fan said.

Some 90 Day Fiancé fans also pointed out that in the previous episode, Dempsey was so over Statler that she was thinking of dumping her. Other fans stated the cracks in their relationship.
"Dempsey is now saying she wants to marry Statler? Didnt she just try to dump her on the ferry yesterday?" an X user wrote.
"Dempsey, you are just now starting to realize this could’ve been one of the worst decisions of your life? I was done with Statler after she freaked out over the car situation and you literally took her to the bee farm," another X user wrote.

Dempsey and Statler resolve their fight on episode 14 of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 6
In episode 14, fans saw Statler telling Dempsey to not talk to her and figure things out when she's having an anxiety episode. She also asked her to not get offended by whatever she says in that phase. Dempsey argued that she wasn't going to be okay if she was being rude to her, the former argued that wasn't her intention.
Statler then opened up about her issues with anxiety and said that she had been suffering from the same since she was a child and that despite trying out several medications and therapists, she hadn't figured it out yet. Dempsey said she didn't want to see her anxious, so she wanted to help her overcome it.
Dempsey then took to a 90 Day Fiancé confessional to say that she felt bad to say it but dealing with a person with anxiety was really hard. She added that she thought living or traveling with someone was the true test of a relationship, and doing it both with Statler in a van was making her question her relationship.
