The Real Housewives of New York City season 15 aired a brand new episode on Tuesday, October 22, 2024. The segment saw the aftermath of Brynn and Ubah's argument as Brynn wanted to leave the Hamptons trip midway after being called a snake.

The two attempted to resolve their issues, but things got heated again when Ubah felt patronized by some of Brynn's comments. In a confessional, the cast shared their points of view about the cast members' argument. and Brynn said that she spoke to Ubah privately and told her that she didn't want her to come across as an "angry Black woman."

Fans of the Bravo show shared their thoughts about Brynn's statements online and were critical of her saying that Ubah was playing into the "stereotype". One wrote on X:

"Brynn can go! She’s upset that she cant get a word in with Ubah, but you did the same thing with Sai. Her words about Ubah being angry black woman is very off putting & out of touch. The real issue is that Ubah was exposing you for the snake that you are!"
"Brynn please don’t try to be the savior of Black girls being stereotyped. Nope! Especially when you appear to be passing (watch the movie). Actually it was you that did the stereotyping," a fan commented.
"Brynn better be ready for this reunion because baby you called Ubah a whaaaat….in 2024 ……as a white passing black woman!! Girl you KNOW BETTER!!," a tweet read.

Fans of The Real Housewives of New York City called Brynn's behavior "ugly":

"Brynn’s behavior was so ugly. #1 I think it’s fueled by jealousy about Ubah’s relationship since she brought up her man. She veiled the insult as concern from a fellow black woman. She stereotyped her as dumb, threatening, undesirable, inarticulate. She is a snake," a person wrote.
"I know this ditzy b*tch Brynn did NOT try to imply the angry black woman stereotype, as if her half-blackness gives her a pass to tone police & “look out” for another black woman when the only thing she knows about being black is a salon," a fan commented.
"Brynn concerning herself with how Ubah comes off tells me she might still be stuck in the loop of respectability politics. Given what she shared about her upbriging this isn’t shocking. Ubah can be angry & unhinged w/out it being seen as a marker of a stereotype," a tweet read.

Fans of The Real Housewives of New York City season 15 further said:

"Even Ubah brought up the fact that English isn't her first language & how insulting Brynn is when she uses phrases like "find better words" "use better words" "I don't communicate like that" "you're coming off like an angry black woman". Brynn is beyond demeaning to Ubah," a person wrote.
"Omg, is Brynn insane? The fact that even Erin knew Brynn was out of line telling Ubah she was coming off like "an angry black woman"... I said it last week, but telling someone with a language barrier to "use their words" is gross & xenophobic. Brynn's true colors? Muddled," a fan commented.
