“Outrageous”- Southern Charm fans react to JT blaming Craig for “exaggerating” his rumor about Madison

Southern Charm season 10, episode 4, titled Sew Not Invited, aired on January 2. In the episode, Leva spoke with JT following his heated argument with Madison in the previous episode.

Madison had accused JT of telling Craig that her husband suspected she and JT had an affair in Jamaica. During his chat with Leva, JT admitted Craig might have "exaggerated" his words.

Fans of Southern Charm took to X to talk about this conversation. Some of them criticized JT for blaming Craig for it while he was the one insinuating it.

"Unpopular opinion: I love JT he’s so outrageous that it’s hilarious. Unhinged in the best reality TV way," a fan said.

"JT complaining about the “game of telephone” when HE was the one creating crazy rumors about all his cast members??" said another.

"I don't think calling Craig will solve anything for JT. Even if JT were to make a case for himself that made sense, Craig would not get off his *ss to make things right with Ms. Pat or Madison," added a third.

"Again. JT didn’t call Patricia out of her name, but he did imply that Brett was inquisitive about something pertaining to Madison, and he alluded to feeling like it was about him. Craig didn’t lie about that, we saw it. I’d be upset too if I were Madison," another wrote.

Some fans of Southern Charm believed that JT was right with his accusation, but he should've told it to Madison instead of Craig.

"JT didn’t need to bring the phone call with Madison’s husband up but clearly her husband wanted to confirm what happened and who in the room. He could’ve gone to Madison instead of telling Craig and Austen. She was cold to him at Carolina Cup so…," an X user wrote.

"The problem with JT is his delivery is always wrong. He isn’t wrong that Madison’s husband was insecure about her traveling with Austen & being in close quarters, but the way he spread it throughout the group was wrong & saying it was HIM Brett was worried about," another user wrote.

"JT: "Craig does have a tendency to exaggerate."" commented one.

"JT blaming Craig for his fallout with Madison as if he played no role in it with his fake rumors," added a third.

What did JT tell Leva in Southern Charm season 10 episode 4?

JT told Leva that after they attended a party last episode, Madison invited him and "lit" him up, "pretty good". The scene flashed back to Madison telling him that Austen might've been right about JT not being a gentleman.

She also brought up how he called Patricia a "b*tch" and said he was the "b*tch", while JT denied having called Patricia that.

Leva sided with him saying that she had never heard him saying such a word but recalled how he was upset when Patricia didn't accept the gift of his cane. The scene flashbacked to the time when JT said it was weird how Patricia wasn't accepting his gift. JT then called it a "game of telephone" and said that it "screams Craig".

JT came to a Southern Charm confessional to state his wish of Craig pulling back all the words he said. Leva too agreed in a confessional that Craig did exaggerate. She then advised him to call Craig and tell him what he was going around telling people wasn't accurate.
