"PARENTS BE KNOWING!" — Love is Blind fans react to Marissa's mother confronting Ramses at the reunion

Season 7 of Love is Blind aired a special reunion episode on Wednesday, October 30, 2024. The cast members gathered to recall their time in the pods and discuss relationship dynamics. The participants had much to delve into since many left the experiment on a bitter note. They intended to voice their concerns, hoping to address unresolved feelings.

Marissa and Ramses were among the couples who left the show after calling off their engagement. Ramses revealed he did not feel aligned with Marissa's energy and was unsure about their future. Consequently, he severed ties with the female cast member, leaving her shedding tears.

At the reunion, Ramses confessed he started disconnecting with Marissa in the latter half of the experiment and, therefore broke up with her, unwilling to mislead her. Marissa's mother, Vanessa, confronted Ramses about not being direct about his doubts earlier. She accused him of hurting Marissa and making her experience one of her worst heartbreaks.

She revealed she wanted to "punch him in the throat" when he ended the relationship. Love is Blind fans took to X to react to Vanessa's confrontation with Ramses. They praised her for standing up for her daughter and showing courage. A fan wrote:

Many Love is Blind fans applauded Vanessa for calling out Ramses. At the same time, they commented on her statement about wanting to hurt him physically.

Love is Blind season 7 reunion: Marissa's mother thanks Ramses for calling off the engagement

Marissa and Ramses came face-to-face at the reunion and discussed what went wrong with their relationship. When hosts Nick and Vanessa Lachey asked the male cast member the reason behind his decision to break up with Marissa, he said he recognized there was a "space" in their energy in the latter part of the experiment.

Ramses explained their relationship felt imbalanced, making him wonder if he would feel "exhausted and overwhelmed" moving forward with Marissa. Although he wanted Marissa to stay the way she was, he admitted he was not the one who could tackle her personality.

Marissa's mother, Vanessa, chimed in and revealed she was on her way to their wedding when she received news about their breakup. She said she met Ramses and spoke with him even though she wanted to "punch him in the throat." Nonetheless, she was grateful Ramses ended the relationship.

"I am thankful he called it off. I am. She would've carried that relationship. And... so he did the right thing. And I thank you for that," Vanessa said.

At the same time, she believed the Love is Blind star should have been "man enough" to voice his doubts earlier in the experiment instead of falsely reassuring her of his feelings for her.

Vanessa blamed Ramses for making Marissa feel "devastated." She revealed she had to "help pick her up" and move on from the breakup. She complained about Ramses walking away while Marissa was hurt. The Love is Blind star accepted his fault and apologized for his shortcomings.
