Love Island USA season 6 aired its latest episode on Tuesday, July 16. The episode saw the continuation of the elimination round that ended mid-way in the previous episode. Three couples — Aaron and Kaylor, Daniela and Rob, and Harrison and Sierra — received an underwhelming number of votes from the viewers, finding themselves on the verge of eviction.
The safe islanders were granted the power to save one couple out of the three. They chose Aaron and Kaylor as the most compatible, granting them immunity. Meanwhile, Love Island USA season 6's newest 'bombshell' Kassy was single. Consequently, she was asked to pick one person between Rob and Harrison to couple up with. Her choice would immediately be saved from elimination.
After much contemplation, Kassy chose Rob. Therefore, Harrison, Sierra, and Daniela were 'dumped' from the Fijian villa. Fans were not impressed by Kassy's choice since they anticipated the recoupling.

Some took to X to express they could not see any chemistry between them since their relationship looked more like a last-minute choice than an actual connection.
However, some thought the newly formed pair complimented each other.

Kassy chooses to couple up with Rob in episode 32 of Love Island USA season 6
In episode 32 of Love Island USA season 6, three islanders were sent home, while one couple and one male cast member were saved from elimination. Harrison and Sierra, Aaron and Kaylor, and Rob and Daniela were voted the least compatible couples. In episode 31, viewers saw Rob and Daniela break up since the former could not imagine a future with them.

The Love Island USA cast members were shocked when Kassy was granted "one final lifeline," the power to choose to save either Rob or Harrison by coupling up with either of them. Kassy wanted to couple up with Rob since she thought he was a "sweet boy" and felt their time on season 5 of Love Island USA was "cut short."
"I want to not only save him but give us time to see if maybe there's a connection, maybe there's something we didn't realize we didn't have last season. So the boy I wanna couple up with is Rob," said Kassy.
