Claim to Fame season 3: Shane's celebrity relative revealed to the late Marlon Brando

Claim to Fame season 3 aired a new episode on August 28, 2024. During the segment, Shane was eliminated after Mackenzie won the daily challenge and chose to guess the cast member's celebrity relative.

Shane was eliminated since Mackenzie's guess was correct in part one of the two-part finale. After leaving the show, the Claim to Fame season 3 contestant spoke to Entertainment Weekly about whether his grandfather, Marlon Brando would have enjoyed watching the ABC show.

"Absolutely not," Shane said.

He added that whenever the family would watch television together, he would randomly mute it and "just sit there." He said that nobody would tell him to unmute it and the family gradually realized that the late actor would mute the television because he "wanted to see the actors acting."

Shane revealed that his grandfather didn't want to hear the music or hear the dialogue.

The Claim to Fame season 3 star was also asked about the fried chicken necklace he wore on the ABC show. Commenting on the same, he said he first wore it as a "joke." He added that he wore it to "level" himself out and to "ground" himself. Shane wanted to remind himself that it was "just a game" and that he shouldn't take it too seriously.

Commenting on the final three contestants, Adam, Hud, and Makenzie, the Claim to Fame season 3 eliminated contestant said that everyone played a good game. He said that he wouldn't have "any hard feelings" regardless of who won. However, he was rooting for Makenzie to win even though she eliminated him.

Shane responded to how the public viewed Adam and said that the ABC star was not "a stupid man." He added that Adam had a lot to offer and that it was fun to be in the show with him.

Fans of the show took to social media to react to Shane's elimination and were surprised to find out about his connection to Marlon Brando.

Episodes of Claim to Fame season 3 are available to stream on ABC and Hulu.
