"Playing a horrible game" — The Traitors UK fans criticize Armani for asking Minah and Linda to be more "assertive"

Season 3 of The Traitors UK aired episode 2 on Thursday, January 2, 2025. It saw Armani asking her fellow Traitors, Minah and Linda, to step up their game so that the Faithfuls remained unaware of their plans. During a secret meeting in the turret, Armani expressed disappointment over her co-conspirators' strategies, urging them to be more confident.

Just one episode after Claudia Winkleman, the show's host, recruited the financial investigator from London to be one of the Traitors, Armani took matters into her own hands and told former opera singer Linda and call center manager Minah that they needed to improve their gameplay and frame as many Faithfuls as possible while preventing suspicion themselves.

While at the turret, Armani said:

"I do feel like you both could be a little bit more assertive."

However, the cast member's feedback did not sit well with The Traitors UK fans. They flocked to X to criticize Armani for seemingly trying to become the trio's leader. While many disapproved of her own gameplay, others wished she got eliminated.

"Eww Armani thinks she’s the group leader telling the other traitors what to do she is playing a horrible game," a fan wrote.

"Armani telling the other traitors to be more assertive when she’s got 11 people onto her," another posted.

"Armani calling her fellow traitors sh**e is so rude. Linda and Minah should throw her under the bus next," a netizen tweeted.

Many fans of The Traitors UK claimed Armani was in no position to advice Linda and Minah.

"Not Armani telling the others traitors to be more assertive when other faithfuls are already suspicious of her," a user reacted.

"Armani has lost the plot, she think's she's the Brain but she's really Pinky," a person commented.

"Armani telling the other traitors to step up their game and head into the spotlight of suspicion is… something!" another wrote.

"armani needs calm down… more people are suspecting her, so she needs to tone the ‘i know best’ thing down cos if they need to get advice from another traitor, its micah, cos shes got it down," one user posted.

Many more fans expressed a similar sentiment.

"Armani giving the other traitors advice - girl you need to pipe down a bit because you are going next! Why do the faithful suspect someone and then don’t bring them up at the table!!! So annoying," another netizen commented.

The Traitors UK: Maia grows suspicious of her older sister, Armani

While holding a secret meeting in the turret, Armani requested that Linda and Minah change their game plan since it was not enough to keep the Faithfuls tricked. She asked her co-conspirators to circulate a "few more theories" and names to make the Faithfuls suspicious of each other instead of coming for the Traitors.

Minah stared in disbelief when Armani said they needed to be "louder and more obvious" with their tactics. While speaking to the cameras, she said:

"Armani has kindly given me and Linda some advice, feedback, whatever you wanna call it... she said we're not doing enough. I was like, 'Wow, I am not taking her feedback. I think she is doing too much."

The Traitors UK star expressed concern over Armani's "cockiness," refusing to let her plans hamper her position in the game. As a result, she hoped Armani would change her ways and play more carefully.

Earlier in the episode, while speaking with Alex, Maia expressed suspicion over Armani's gameplay based on her performance in the gunpowder challenge. During the conversation, Maia confessed she would not give Armani any leeway just because they were related.
