"Poetic justice" — Big Brother fans react to Joseph being nominated as Angela's replacement

Big Brother season 26 is set to release a new episode on Wednesday, September 4, 2024. In the previous episode, Quinn became the Head of Household (HoH) and used his privileges to nominate Angela, Rubina, and Kimo for the upcoming elimination. He revealed his main target was Angela, Tucker's close ally.

Frustrated by Angelas's frequent meltdowns, others supported Quinn's decision and strategized to get her evicted. Although the episode ended there, week 7 Live Feeds, available on Paramount+, showcased the aftermath of the nominations. Angela felt insecure about her position in the house, claiming she had no real connections.

When Leah won week 7's Power of Veto (PoV), Angela wondered if that strengthened her chances of staying in the house. However, she refused to take the easy way out. Instead, she asked Joseph to request Quinn not to target her. She got upset when Joseph refused to help her and asked her to win the AI Arena.

The tables turned once Leah used her Veto on Angela while Joseph got a place on the block as Angela's replacement. Big Brother fans celebrated the twist. They took to X to comment on the hilarity of the situation.

Big Brother season 26 fans reacted to Joseph campaigning for himself to Angela.

Other Big Brother fans cheered as Angela was taken off the block. They expressed their satisfaction as Joseph became the replacement nominee.

"The irony is not lost on me" — Big Brother star Joseph confides in Angela about his nomination

After Leah used her Power of Veto to take Angela off the block, Joseph was nominated as her replacement. He soon regretted his previous conversation with Angela in which he told her that her days in the Big Brother house were numbered. He had explained that she could avoid getting eliminated by winning the AI Arena challenge.

With the equations overturned, Joseph approached Angela and confessed he knew how ironic the situation was.

"I just wanna let you know that the irony is not lost on me. I'm gonna take the advice that I gave you and just try to appreciate my time here and give my best in the AI Arena," Joseph said.

Angela tried to comfort him by saying he was not a target to anyone, but the Big Brother cast member refused to believe that. She mentioned that his words made her feel unworthy although she knew it was not his intention.

In an attempt to encourage the cast member, Angela said:

"I do look to you as somebody that is a really good guy and a really good player and a really good social player. Your game is great and I admire it."

He apologized to Angela, hoping to make amends. Later, he admitted he was alone in the house without real connections.

"Yes, I am alone. This sucks I got screwed over by two of the people I trusted the most and they can't even get their f**king stories straight," Joseph said.
