"Poor guy"— Love After Lockup fans react to Sam revealing he spent over $100K on Krystal 

Love After Lockup season 5 aired episode 53 this week on Friday, December 27, 2024. The segment saw Sam out drinking with his friend when he received a call from Krystal.

During the call, he told the cast member that he was out playing pool with a friend and joked about betting his cheque on the game. The female cast member hoped he was joking and in a confessional later, Krystal said that he had been "slacking" with sending her money lately. She further said that lately, she had to remind him to send her money.

The female cast member proceeded to tell him what she bought including a pair of shoes from Nike. Later in the episode, Sam's friend asked the cast member if he ever thought that Krystal might be using him and he revealed that he had spent over $100K on her since she had been in prison.

Fans of the WeTV show reacted to Sam's monetary reveal and were critical of the Love After Lockup couple's relationship. One person wrote on X:

In Love After Lockup season 5 episode 53, Sam and his friend Cameron were out playing pool when the WeTV reality star received a call from Krystal. The two got into a disagreement about intimacy and the female cast member hung up on Sam.

Sam expressed his frustrations about the Love After Lockup season 5 cast member hanging up since he couldn't call her back and leave an "angry" voice note. Cameron told him that he knew he loved Krystal but asked if he ever felt that she was using him.

"It's crossed my mind man, to buy sh*t, you know since I've met her, its been 100K," he said.

Cameron said it was a lot of money and in a confessional, Sam said he had made his "blood sacrifice" to "this machine" and said he was "all in." He further told Cameron that Krystal was his wife and he didn't want her to ask someone else for things.
