Below Deck Mediterranean aired a brand new episode on Monday, August 5, 2024. During the segment, the male cast members were discussing one of the songs that deckhand Joe Bradley sang on the yacht.

Joe, who was caught in the middle of a love triangle, sang a song about Ellie and Bri, but was unaware that Ellie was in the room. Upon hearing the song, Ellie was offended by the lyrics and let Joe know about it.

Fans of the show also chimed in on the song and were unhappy with the cast member's behavior while on the show. One person wrote on X:

"Joe Bradley is the poster child for Toxic Masculinity #BelowDeck #BelowDeckMed"
"Who would’ve thought that I’d actually be more annoyed with Joe than Ellie in an episode? I just wish he would STFU. Also, don’t pick on Gael, she’s done a much better job as a deckhand than you have so far this season #BelowDeck #BelowDeckMed," a fan commented.
"Joe is such a d—k. Seeing him caught like that was bliss. Such a tool. He actually bonded those 2 silly stews against him. And of course he will make a play for the new stew because he thinks he’s the sh*t. Please let her shoot him down. #belowdeckmed," a tweet read.

Below Deck Mediterranean season 9 fans criticized him for the song:

"First that cringe song, then accusing Gael of being a princess…Joe might as well keep his shoes in his mouth bc that’s where his feet are. #belowdeckmed," a person wrote.
"Joe Bradley is grossing me out with his stupid song on the piano #belowdeckmed," a fan commented.
"Joe: Who's it going to be? Ellie: Nice song! Joe: ... #BelowDeckMed #BelowDeckMediterranean," a tweet read.

Below Deck Mediterranean season 9 fans further said:

"Joe and Ellie are both awful people and therefore deserve each other. #BelowDeck #BelowDeckMed," a fan wrote.
"Joe is horrible with women. I don’t get the appeal at all. He is such a jack*ss. #BelowDeckMed," a fan commented.

Joe's song in Below Deck Mediterranean season 9 offends Ellie

In Below Deck Mediterranean season 9 episode 10, as the cast was getting the main salon ready for an evening event, Joe Bradley sat down at the piano and sang a song about his complicated equation with Ellie and Bri.

"Bri, don't be upset. Who is it going to be? Is it gonna be Bri or Ellie?" Joe sang as several male cast members laughed.

As he continued the song, the deckhand was unaware that Ellie, one of the people in his song, was in the room. She said she enjoyed the music, which caught everyone's attention. Joe tried to explain that it was just a "little joke with the boys."

"This motherf—ker. Oh, he's got a bit of attention from me one time. And now you can get whoever he wants. And I'm like, well, not me. I'm dried up," Ellie said in a confessional.

Joe also chimed in on the Below Deck Mediterranean season 9 situation while in conversation with the cameras and was embarrassed to be caught red-handed.

As he followed the other Bravo stars into the kitchen, he told them they could have told him Ellie was in the room. Jono asked him what he did and he sang a song.

Later in the episode, Ellie confronted Joe about the song and let the Below Deck Mediterranean season 9 cast member know how offended she was.

As the group discussed being on a yacht together for extended periods of time, Ellie said she was upset when she heard the song.

"It just sounded so disrespectful, you know?" Ellie said.

In response to Ellie's statement, Joe told her it was "only a little song with the boys" and a "playful event."

Watching the episode back, Below Deck Mediterranean season 9 fans agreed with Ellie about the show and criticized Joe.

Episodes of Below Deck Mediterranean season 9 are available to stream on Bravo.
