Big Brother season 26 aired a brand new episode this week on Wednesday, August 7, 2024. During the segment, the events of week 3, which fans had the opportunity to watch on Live Feeds, were played out for the greater audience. The segment featured the veto meeting and Cedric naming another person to replace Angela on the block after Tucker used his PoV to save her.

Cedric named Makensy as her replacement instead of Quinn, which was part of his original plan with Tucker and a few others. This led to a big fight between the two, which wasn't featured in Wednesday's episode. Season 26 fans reacted to the segment online and were convinced that production was practicing favoritism. One person wrote on X:

"soo they not going show Cedric telling Tucker not to use it. production loves Tucker bad omggg #BB26"
"This is one of the most heinous edits I've ever seen from this show. Production is HELL BENT on making Tucker seem like a HERO instead of a dumb ass cuz CEDRIC TOLD HIM TO USE THE VETO ON YOURSELF!! #BB26," a fan commented.
"F—K PRODUCTION for not showing Cedric telling Tucker to use the veto on himself & Tucker not listening. they had such a hilarious, messy, chaotic storyline, that would have made the episode one of the best of all time. but they had to ruin their own show like always. #BB26," a tweet read.

The segment did not feature Tucker and Cedric's pre-veto meeting conversations, during which the cast members planned to put Quinn in danger. The show also didn't use Tucker and Cedric's argument, which upset Big Brother fans.

"They should have shown less of the comp on the episode and more of the boys meeting and hyped for the plan, then Cedric telling Tucker they didn’t have the votes in the morning and him saying he didn’t care, then fight #BB26," a person wrote.
"WOAH WAIT PAUSE?!?! ARE THEY GONNA SKIP CEDRIC TELLING THE PENTAGON AND GOING BACK ON THE PLAN????! #BB26," a fan commented.
"Justice for Cedric why did they edit it to seem like he didn’t warn Tucker at all. Like hopefully we’ll get a flashback tomorrow but it’s still annoying #bb26," a tweet read.

Big Brother season 26 fans further said:

"I know we can all appreciate the entertainment that comes from Tucker but he should have took himself off the block. That’s not Cedric’s fault. #BB26," a person wrote.
"Same could be said for those hating on Cedric. He played HIS game by NOT being Tucker's puppet. Cedric gave us literal FUN FEEDS this week by being loyal to his alliance & not being a puppet. Tucker & Angela are good on drama, but Tuck may be Marcellas part 2. We'll see! #BB26," a fan commented.

What happened between Tucker and Cedric in Big Brother season 26?

In Big Brother season 26 week 3, certain events of which were featured in Wednesday's episode of the show, saw Cedric and Tucker at odds after the Veto meeting. Ahead of the meeting, Tucker approached Cedric with a plan to eliminate Quinn.

He told the Big Brother season 26 week 3 HoH that he would use his PoV on Angela and not himself and that Cedric should replace her with Quinn, which would mean that Kenney, Tucker, and Quinn would be unsafe.

He felt confident that he and Tucker could defeat Quinn in the AI Arena and that the house would then vote the third cast member out. However, Cedric nominated Makensy instead, which upset Tucker and the two got into a fight.

While the fight was not featured in the latest episode, fans were upset that the production didn't include Cedric telling Tucker to use his PoV to save himself.

Big Brother season 26 fans chimed in on the situation and were upset by how the episode was edited.

Big Brother season 26 will return to screens on Thursday, August 8, 2024, with a brand new episode on CBS.
