On January 17, 2025, The Traitors UK aired a new episode, in which contestants revealed why they had signed up for the show. While each detailed why they needed the cash prize, one player's intentions regarding his potential winnings touched everyone. Alexander shared that he would donate to a Mencap charity that his brother, who was born with special needs, used to visit so it could help others.
On Friday's segment of The Traitors UK, after the roundtable discussions, the remaining eight contestants were told by host Claudia Winkleman that a dinner party had been arranged for them. After the players headed to the event and enjoyed their meal, each revealed what they intended to do with the prize money in case they made it to the finish line.
Alexander talked about his brother and revealed his charitable intentions, wishing to help the Mencap which would gave "respite" to families with children with special needs.
"Part of it I'd give to a charity called The Royal Mencap Society. My brother used to go to a Mencap holiday every year and it gives respite for parents so that special needs kids can have a holiday and so can parents," he said.
Alexander's confession impressed the fans of The Traitors UK. They took to X, praising his intentions and hoping he won the show. While many commended his philanthropic motives, others complimented his entertaining personality.

Besides helping other families and children with special needs through his donation, the 38-year-old former diplomat wanted to put some money aside for his personal requirements. While sharing his objective with the other contestants of The Traitors UK, Alexander said:
"I'd also like to buy a flat because civil servant salaries are not as large as people think they are!"
Furthermore, he revealed that he participated in the reality show because he loved engaging in new activities and taking up opportunities that came his way. Alexander pleasantly surprised the players by mentioning that he had recently finished visiting all 15 of London's disused underground stations.
While elaborating on his knack for trying new things, The Traitors UK cast member stated that he explored the sewers in Bologna and went to see the northernmost McDonald's and nuclear icebreaker in Murmansk.
"I've lived around the world in different countries," he added.
Friday's episode also showcased Lisa becoming the conspirators' seventh murder victim, followed by a roundtable discussion that banished Leon from the castle. Freddie cast the deciding vote that sealed Leon's fate. Meanwhile, Francesca received four votes in favor of her elimination, earning her another day on the show.
